  3. Hello everybody,...well, i stupidly put the speakon cable 180 ° the wrong way into my CMD 121, and i cant put it back so the female speakon in the CMD 121 needs to be replaced...the place of the connector inside the amp is not so easy to access before an exterior concert in the semi darkness of the evening!! the amp is not two years old and is ok, but the waranty wont work because i made the mistake. so i have just a little question please: is it possible and not too complicated to self change this connector in the amp (the female side then)? it must be not so hard or am i totally wrong? thaks a lot and have a nice day Philippe from France
  4. Price drop now £115! Inspired by both new and old, the AfterLife has FOUR different internal analog circuits that provide 2 distortions and 2 fuzzes. Providing plenty of headroom and a ton of gain, these four selections will cover all the distorted ground you’ve got. While the outside boasts a lone Mode selection knob and a Volume control, there’s more under the hood to this one. Internal adjustable trimpots are available for all four modes, with parameters like overall Volume, Bias, Gain and Filter. The enclosure is 100% Solid Aircraft Aluminum Machined. The artwork on the front and back is laser-engraved, and each AfterLife pedal is 100% hand-wired and hand-built. Collect from Chesterfield or add £5 for UK postage. Cheers! Sam
  5. PRICE DROP NOW £220!!! Here’s my TC Electronic RH450 in used condition. Everything works perfectly - this is a proper workhorse of an amplifier, and small/light enough to use as a backup when gigging. Collect from Chesterfield (5 mins from M1 J29) or I can post for an additional £15. Cheers! Sam

  7. A lovely Jazzer just popped up over at BB https://bassbros.co.uk/product/1965-fender-jazz-bass-2/
  8. Guy Pratt's "My Bass and Other Animals" is very amusing. EDIT: If you prefer audiobooks, then he reads that one himself and does a great job. Quite nice to hear it in his voice when a particular anecdote brings back happy memories.
  9. Absolutely not. I wish I had had those when I was learning to read music.
  10. Just to be clear the price I am asking is £3000. That being said I am sure anyone who might have an interest in a Bass of this quality and condition would drop me a message to negotiate.
  11. Hmm. We had a guitarists who ended up picking up the radio on his Marshall valvestate. He was mortified though and, I think, got a Hughes & Kettner and a guitar with humbuckers and that got rid of the issue. At least you still have some high-frequencey hearing though, that's good to know!
  12. Didn't get round to putting this for commission sale as intended, so lets have another go, with a price drop. NOW £800.
  13. Most of the punters are scared of it 😆
  14. I'm experimenting with some of them. Not 100% convinced, but they are usable. I'm liking the unit more and more, but it is not plug and play.
  15. I'm quite fascinated by these things. Do I, as robust gentleman of 6'4" with gorillaesque hands, need one? No.
  16. Bargain price for a great bit of kit, if i didn't already have one, would be all over this..... GLWTS Hi from Bromley too!
  17. Saw the Daley-Crowe Blues Band in a pub garden in Bishops Castle on Sunday early eve... It was their first gig, but you'd never know it - they were excellent. Basically just blues covers with a couple of Hendrix and ZZ Top numbers but all played very well indeed. Though I knew they would, I used to be in band with Tim D and so was familiar with his guitar stylings!
  18. I want to catch them while I can. My brother has been going to their concerts since the early 80s.
  19. Will consider offers. Thanks.

  21. I think it is in this case, Chris. The point I was making is that, because I do a lot of transcribing where the details change on every chorus, I get out of the habit of using the repeats and codas etc. and I often don't even consider it, even when it would be helpful. As a result, some of my charts are 10 pages long which is ridiculous!

    Thank you Stevie!
