  1. Past hour
  2. Love Plus One - Haircut One Hundred
  3. It was murdered by the previous owner. I prefer it without it and had the holes filled, but can easily be added back on. If you want to I can add one for you in your preffered colour.
  4. IEM rigs work great for some players, doesn’t work at all for many players. It depends very much on the particular application and situation. I don’t like it where a player denigrates another player’s choices based on only their particular choice, even if that choice may not reflect the other player’s needs or situation.
  5. Thanks Pete 👍
  6. I own a Producer backpack and I can put my HeadRush Core in one pocket and a huge laptop with a big A3 size book (yes A3) in the two inside "pockets" plus a volume control pedal in the side pocket, loads of cables and accessories in the front pocket, a smartphone in the other side pocket, ... so a lot of things. And it's easy to handle or wear on your back.
  7. The Look Of Love - ABC, Dusty Springfield, etc etc
  8. He reminds of someone else not that long ago who went totally nuts in Photo Comp thread and many others...
  9. Half Pronoun Half Biscuit
  10. The original Fender Precision Bass had bakelite or even wood saddles...
  11. I'm now a one-man band (that's what I am, nobody knows or understands) after being forced to leave my covers band through illness (stroke) So my unique points are: 1. No gigs, no audience (except my cat who doesn't rate me at all) so readily available 2. Unique wobbly sax tone (embouchure shot) 3. Quietest bass sound ever (headphones only for occasional practice with Youtube) Perfect for funeral parlour mood music,,,
  12. Read some of @joel406 other posts last night, seems he only has one thing to say, but boy he really does like saying it 😒
  13. ACAB (ex- The Police). Elected Head of State (Ex- King, Queen, Prince). Suzy Octo (Quatro just isn't enough these days). Boudicca and the Banshees (Cultural appropriation, best avoided).
  14. It would appear then that Sadowsky adopted the 4+1 headstock before Fender did.I've always preferred that personally over the 5 in-line design.
  15. You're gonna need a Badass on there Andy
  16. Lovely bass, classic look. GLWTS
  17. As it turns out, I can! I didn’t realise there was anyone still making them - but there’s a fella on Facebook who’s in the Future Impact group, and I’m now in touch. Yay!
  18. Price includes postage
  19. A little muted
  20. "So much for free speech in America". Funny how those who bang on about "free speech" get twitchy when others exercise their right to it, isn't it? Btw, this is the UK. Instead of being a grown-up and saying "Let's agree to differ", they throw insults around and behave like kids in the playground. I suspect this is because they are really looking for validation, so when someone disagrees with them, they cannot deal with the existence of a contrary opinion and take it as a personal affront. Truly a sad state of affairs. Love the thread title, too. "How freedom feels", rather than something adult, such as "I prefer not to use backline". Enjoy munching those freedom fries and wearing that MAGA hat (which, if you check the label, you will find was made in China). You have yourself a wonderful day
  21. I’ve had a go at something similar, and for the same reason! Mine was based on the Lakland Clayton P style signatures. US body, McIntyre J neck, some vintage hardware I had kicking around and a US custom wound pickup - must track down my invoice for that as it was quite expensive!
