No More Mr Nice Guy - Alice Cooper
-
Thank you, sounds like it's me being daft! Will revisit.

Its a very nice briefcase sized setup. On my growing list of things to build. Right after I fix my blown-up Headrush 112 and replacing the tweeters in an Omni 10.5 Now I think about it, I may pick @Mottlefeeder's brains as to what to replace whatever it's blown up with. Rob

Great wee thing I literally just bought new, because I thought I was going to use it in my workshops with primary schools, alas…everyone likes the double bass better, so I’m selling the Kala. I was amazed at how good this sounds, especially since I pair it with Flatwound strings (that cost me £65!)… only tiny imperfection is a hairline mark that does not even go through the varnish (photographed). Comes with original foam bag, in original box, with the original round wound strings shoved in the bag as well, in case you prefer them to flats. postage no problem (UK only).

There's an idea, I might bring my home-brew Erbauer drill battery powered pedal board.

Yes! I had the V7 and the old V9. Excellent, excellent basses. I preferred the V7 with the maple board over the V9 with ebony. The V7 was really good for having a 'controlled' sound when your dynamics change... I mean, if you pop the string you got a good sound that didn't give a massive volume spike. Such good basses, I'd take another one any time.

I made a mistake in not pulling the trigger on a new KS you had. It was half the price they are now and I’ve never seen or played anything like it since. Heed my warning basschatters, don’t overthink just buy 😂

Dirty Rotten Bastards - Green Day

Yeah, that switch is marked expression assign! So it’s only picking the behaviour of the expression pedal. I’d assume that without a pedal, that switch does nothing. You absolutely should have an expression pedal! It brings so many effects to life!

This all boils down to respect and sensitivity. If a performer resorts to parody then they will only embarrass themselves and potentially offend others. Ben Kingsley is a Quaker and is neither a Jain or a Hindu but most would agree he did a pretty decent performance as Ghandi. He was also great in Sexy Beast with Ray Winston. Ray Winston as Ghandi however would be parody.

Just to add here again for anyone interested, I got a reply from Taylor and he said to get that long reverb you need to max the bass, treble and room to get that long reverb then you can play over it. This is not meant to be a freeze pedal so you only get a long reverb on that note up to a minute which you can then play over with your clean tone. I really like this pedal and its the first time I feel like getting an expression pedal.

That will be the ’ology’ that also applies to this no longer being something that sane people do: -
Cultural appropriation and covers
Steve Browning replied to DF Shortscale's topic in General Discussion
I recall Maureen Lipman saying that gentiles should not play roles depicting Jewish characters. I believed that was what acting was. Not sure what 'ology' covers that. -

My all time favorite band is Blue Oyster Cult and I am listening to "Joan Crawford" now. Funny enough, never touched a guitar in my life but Buck Dharma is one of my biggest influences, I just kind of "translate" some of his phrases and playing style to bass in my head and I love how much melody and feel it adds to my lines.

Cab covers are expensive I feel where sometimes you just need a rain / dust cover. I have MB58R 102 Energy cabs and one cover ! So one cab without at the moment Can’t decide if a second cover is worth it

4-Pos/3-Pole Rotary Switch for two pickup wiring
Immo replied to Immo's topic in Repairs and Technical
Looks the same, just w/ swapped pickups and one Hot output being soldered to output terminals instead of the inner pole (A). Is there any practical difference? - Yesterday

Would breakers work in this application? I like the clean look of the front panel.
