Thanks for pointing out the mixed Thomann reviews of the Swiff WX520 - very helpful. Given I've just recommended the unit to our singer, for whom it will be a significant outlay, I've had a read through (and pulled the reviews together in English translation in the attached note, in case of use for anyone else). I found the review by a chap called Jonz particularly good. He very helpfully listed the pros and cons and was obviously loving it, until it broke after 6 months! Shame. +1 for the Genz Benz NeoX 212 I love mine, I paid £350 secondhand around 3 years ago, the top handles are a little awkward for lifting into a high truck but at about 20kgs it is managable, built in casters. Tweeter is variable and the cab is rated at 600w @4 Ohms. I had a Barefaced cab which I sold soon after getting the Genz

I can still see a bit of tape though. -
Well, it's all now pointless as the screw holes on the Cort A6 don't quite align with the holes on this bridge, so I can't use it as I'm not willing to re-drill the Cort. The holes are far enough apart to not fit, but close enough that re-drilling would just widen the existing holes... So, anyone want a bridge! 😆

A Schroeder 212 or Genz Benz NX212 ate the 2 cabs I have used. Both great cabs, but very different as well. The only thing is finding one, unfortunately.

Absolutely! The update we’re currently working on will bring lots of great new goodies.

As everyone has already said, it's sad but understandable, and many thanks for the hard work that has gone into the previous events I've been lucky enough to attend and enjoy!

Last year I ventured downstairs for a look round, and it's a good job I did because that's where ACG were lurking. I might have missed them completely otherwise. I have a busy gig weekend this year alas, so I won't be going.

MARSHALL BB-2 Not to be confused with the original Bluesbreaker pedal, which was essentially a preamp-in-a-box - this is a dedicated, dual-mode overdrive pedal. "Boost" mode is a transparent-sounding clean boost, designed to push the front end of your amp harder, while "Blues" mode gives a much more shaped (and saturated!) tone, reminiscent of the original Bluesbreaker amps being dimed. I bought this pedal back in something like 2010. It was my main distortion effect for a while, and did a handful of gigs with me, but as I've experimented with new effects and different amps, I find myself using it less and less. I still have the original box and user's manual, which are a little worn in places (see pictures); the pedal itself is in excellent condition. Only one thing: the controls originally had black position indicators painted on them, which have mostly rubbed off over the years. Up to you whether you leave them as is, or paint some new ones on! Price includes postage to mainland UK. If you'd like it sent to a different country, drop me a PM. Open to sensible offers!

😭x1000 And there's me having already sorted out my raffle prize donation for this year. Seriously though... Mike, I cannot put into words how much I (and I'm sure I speak for all of us here) appreciate all the hard work you and Gabs and the Scrumpettes have put into the BFSWBBes over the years. I've only missed one, and spent the whole of that day feeling like I was missing a limb. As an aside, I've been looking into hall hire etc round this way, and the cheapest I could find was smaller, less convenient (i.e. closer to houses) and 30 quid more expensive than the full rate for Cheddon would be. The place was perfect.

Is that any worse though, than the sound of multiple cutlery drawers being flung down a stone stair well which is the default noise produced at bass shows?

Hi @Chienmortbb Any updates or reviews of your PA system performance? How are the Typhon 8's complementing the Citronic Casa 10BA? Really interested in your views and feedback.
