Just bought this Amp for a complete song. ( Dont ask the final price, you will be appalled …..I gave the guy more than the final eBay listing settled on cos of my remorse for the eBay victory) I’m thinking this looks very early (1980-1981?) it has just been serviced & PATested and sounds utterly wonderful. Any ideas of vintage? model : AH250G serial : 2225 Thanks for looking!

Well then, with what amounts to a near runaway victory in these parts, we have a resounding outright July win for @Chiliwailer a well supported month with some great material and a worthy winner. With the formalities nearly complete ( I need to do the certificate) we will crack on with his choice of inspiration for us ... "It's summer, and if it were possible I know where I'd rather be right now.... I hope you all also find this image of trekking in Yellowstone Park inspiring." ✅ Entries must be <5 minutes and recorded between now and the deadline. ❌ No illegal samples, copyright infringements or other snide goings-on ❌ No Bagpipes, Please, I think they would get eaten by the grizzleys. ❌ No voting for your own entry. We'll know. And we'll shame you.. Deadline-wise, we will go for Midnight on the 24th July ... Which in reality, means an early one on the 25th , unless I'm away on my holidays! A line or two of blurb as usual for the vote thread will be super duper smashing lovely. Good luck, Have fun

All prices reduced by £5 and delivery to UK included. I made space on my pedal board for an HX One. It replaced my Xotic Bass RC Booster and the pedal I thought I'd never sell, my Creation Audio Grizzy. So I now have 5 pedals sitting around doing not a lot and a hankering for a Stomp Creation Audio Grizzly. £135 Flattley Poison Ivy Fuzz £85 Black Country Custom The 85 Octave £80 Xotic Bass RC Booster £60 TC Electronics 3rd Dimension Chorus £20 All in top condition. In fact the 85, 3rd Dim and Flattely are like new. All boxed except for the Grizzly (I will keep looking). Velcro'd as per the photos. Peter

Now £430! Here's my Markbass cab up for sale. It is in near new condition and includes a Roqsolid cover. The top carpet has a couple of indents where the amp was placed on it. Other than that minor sign of normal use it's as new. It has been used several times at rehearsal at very low volume levels and at one gig where it was only used as a monitor as I was going through the PA. It is a great cab. A real one cab solution weighing approximately 18Kg or 40lbs. I'm 70, under 11 stone, have osteoporosis and have suffered a spinal fracture and I'm happy to lug it around. Specs briefly are 2 x 12" ceramic speakers 600 watts Piezo switchable tweeter with 2 levels of attenuation 57.8 x 60 x 47 cm https://www.markbass.it/product/mb58r-122-p-4/ Tone is very Markbass, i.e. effective. Collection or meet up only. I'm in Kendal, Lake District, NW England.

I bought this to use as a backup whilst my old amp was being serviced. It’s a superb little unit. Bought new recently and rehearsed and gigged a couple of times since. Works as it ought to and is very powerful. I used it through my 8ohm cab and it was loud and punchy. It’s got some cosmetic surface scratches on the top but nothing terrible. Boxed with mains lead and manual (I think). I can post in the UK. PayPal please.

I do think the full story gives a different perspective. Having used Pirate in the past and only stopped because they closed the local studio it rings true. Bear in mind a remote alarm will include the location so someone anywhere on the planet can review the CCTV and if it shows someone vaping under the alarm before it triggers and there are no other alarms then it's reasonable to assume it's a false alarm.

J-Retro with Precision and Musicman pickups
Chiliwailer replied to Beedster's topic in Repairs and Technical
I don’t know if this is relevant Chris, but I had a J-Tone once with CS Jazz pickups and it was great, but when I used it with Fralin dual-coil Jazz pickups the preamp couldn’t handle it and was popping and clicking when I dug in. I spoke to John, but he said he had no idea what the issue was 🤷🏻♂️ -

Without specs you can't model the result to compare them. However, at 1.8mm xmax the Delta 10B (B stands for 16 ohm) was not a bass driver. It was intended for PA tops that weren't run much below 100 Hz.

Very close to mine which i picked up off here a number of months ago. Beautiful bass, I hope it serves you well 🙂

G&L SB-2 Tribute, black with case, Bristol. £275

For sale is the Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 which has the AUX input as well. Great sounding pedal with amazing ability to sculp both the tone on the preamp side and the distortion on the drive side of the pedal. There is some very impressive sounds that can be had out of this pedal. The pedal comes with the original box and all the goodies that came with it. I bought this pedal 3-4 years ago but the sound is a bit too much for the bands I am in. I was always hoping to use it but it has literally sat in the box the whole time. I had thought I might use it also as an emergency DI for gigs but I have never needed it. I would be really interested in trades for Iron Ether Nimbus and/or Polytope because the funds coming from this will go towards those pedals. If I was playing heavier music this pedal would absolutly be staying.

I just got one of these after a long wait. I sold my WAZA Air headphones because whilst they’re super neat and everything, the actual headphones themselves let the system down. I really wanted the same sort of tech but where I can use my preferred bass playing headphones, the Beyer DT770. Well, the GO is bang on. I plug it into my Backbeat so it’s like it isn’t there, the app is much better than the WAZA one and I was able to make a flat preset which sounds almost identical to my VB99 setup right away (copied the settings across, pretty much). Flat amp, small upper mid bump, limiter and a tiny bit of room reverb. The app is so much more logical and thanks to a tiny box that says ‘don’t show this screen again’ when you connect the device and open the app, it’s actually more seamless then the WAZA which you basically had to pair with the app each time you opened it. I’ll spend more time with it later this week but I’m pretty confident that I will be able to get exactly the same clean sound I get with my home setup, which will be great - and I notice you can record out of it via USB, too. Excellent!
