  1. Past hour
  2. Aha, I didnt know that David, very handy if that click annoyed you...always a learning day
  3. A great looking Ric……and the blue colour has not leached into the body binding like some other examples in this colour. The foot on the case is a common fault on those ABS cases. Easily fixed with black epoxy though. Ricky Sounds also does a kit to fix it as well. As this is a UK only sale, it looks like I just “missed the bullet”. All the best for your sale!
  4. And in any case, saying tremolo means you miss out on the opportunity to say "whammy bar". Life is too short to pass up such chances at mirth.
  5. Mapex H600 double braced Hi Hat stand, with spring tension adjuster. Some cosmetic wear to the footplate as pictured, otherwise excellent, fully functional condition. £40. Collect from Colne, Lancs or will post for a fiver.
  6. 10+ In stock at Andertons. Just ordered one. https://www.andertons.co.uk/behringer-bm13-phaser/
  7. Instagrim , Farcebook, Tit-Kok, Slapchap are all bad juju
  8. If a bass has vibrato arm, and this goes for guitars too, stop calling the damn thing a tremolo. A vibrato arm cannot do changes in volume. Thats what a tremolo does. A vibrato changes pitch. Get with the program Outraged, Tonbridge Wells.
  9. We were regulars at a well known bar in Nottingham who's identity I will hide for their own privacy (let's just call them O'Meills Mirish Mar) Great rapport with the staff, free drinks and all that good stuff, feedback from the regulars saying how much busier it gets when we are billed. New manager takes over then a new resident DJ who's clearly good friends with him (zero flash or talent just sticking a playlist on) He took at immediate dislike to us for whatever reason, getting to the point where we'd be booked and he would have got their early and put tables and chairs on the stage or blocked it with his equipment boxes, stealing a set list of the stage and proceeding to play every song before we go on, walking on stage and trying to turn amps down. Just a weird unpleasant experience. We tried speaking to the manager but it "wasn't his problem" so we ended up putting them on our own blacklist I try not to judge as everyone has their own problems under their iceberg but you sir are a cock
  10. I think just you playing the autoharp will do for starters Jack.
  11. I think what he means is he's struggling to dial in the sound that's in his head. Using well known pedals with distinct sounds is a quick shorthand way to describe the desired sound rather than straight up copying I love my stomp but I also have struggled to get a thick fuzz tone but I'm sure there are plenty out there on YouTube etc that have found the knack 👍
  12. Yes this is assuming you are staying with the same brand and that one gauge up is available for short scale
  13. This was on my board for a few years, never let me down but just fancied a change so I’ve got a boss chorus on the board now. The toneprint options make it a pretty versatile pedal, found myself mostly using the Duff McKagan toneprint. No original box for this unfortunately but will be packaged securely. Price includes postage in the UK, cheers
  14. Got this in a trade on here recently but it’s just not got much use. Between the green Russian and the grey stache that I own I have my fuzz needs covered. This one is two big muffs running in parallel, one of them has a standard tone control, the other has a mid boost/cut. Certainly a lot to play with and a lot of sounds to be gotten out of it! No original box with this but will be packaged securely. Price will include postage in the UK
  15. Not had a problem with mine at all, holds a 9.5lbs bass just fine, and has done for a few years now. ! Maybe you just got unlucky with a bad one? I had a chrome version of that Stagg stand a few years ago and to be fair it was a very nice little stand and really well made. I prefer a grab stand personally. 😎
  16. It's some bad JuJu
  17. I think I'm going the Uni-Pre 4 direction, in part because I love John's preamps but suspect the J-Retro might not be the best option here, and in part because I love the tone in that clip @Stofferson 👍
  18. First Bass Owned: Columbus (Korean pointy headstock Charvel/Jackson copy) 'Go To' Bass: 2019 Fender American Original 60's Jazz / 2016 Fender American Elite Jazz. 'Your' Bass: 2007 Status-Graphite S2-Classic.
  19. Killer tone, killer album.
  20. Personally I would stick at 40-100 or 40-95 for short scale. I find that the higher the gauge the quicker the notes start to sound ill-defined on the E string
  21. The wonders of techmonology!
  22. Trades - X Touch Universal, maybe Alto TS215. Great bass in good condition, comes with hard case. Short scale. Not a heavy bass. Plays well. Not really any damage to speak of. There’s a little bit at the top of the headstock (photographed) but looks much worse than it actually is. I’ve removed the strap lock pins and replaced them with the originals that were odd when I got it. The case is old but fully function and all the clasps work. Can post at buyers expense or can be collected from BB22SH Any questions please ask.

  23. I’m currently in the process of rescuing one too. Very cool basses. GLWTS
  24. That doesn't seem an unreasonable question to ask
  25. I’m over the moon for you with that - great work mate. The test run - that’s a step I’d skip (and f*** up thereafter) bass looks mint x
  26. Today
  27. Nice work, Neep. You're making great progress on a very cool project, young man.
