  1. Past hour
  2. Come on, @Okabass, give 'em a pic with your name tag. Then they believe it's you. I trust you, but they don't seem to.
  3. Very nice indeed, GLWTS.
  4. Hey Steve the Andertons 425X has been sold now. Was that you? ☺️
  5. Cover Me - Bruce Springsteen
  6. A wonder that that lovely (Classic White?) Stingray hasn't left you for someone guitarless yet.
  7. For the audition, I just went straight in to my Ashdown ABM600 Evo and Eden Nemesis 210 cab. A little bit of drive on the amp and a slight boost in the high mids. Normally I use a Revolt preamp in front of the ashdown. Running through the dirty channel it sounds amazing, but not right for this band
  8. Poor sound. Poor reliability. Could do with a little bit more power for some larger/noisier gigs. Fairly limited range of controls. Cheap construction. No real character to the sound that sets it apart from other similar 'Cash Generator'-type 'finds'. I'd avoid it (as I did whenever I found one lurking in some awful rehearsal place). HOWEVER, you say you like the vibe and how it looks, so, in that case, give it a go. Don't pay much more than £40 for it.
  9. That would be VM, this is CV.
  10. For anyone on the fence... I'm happy to put it back to stock with a set of flats if that's your jam!
  11. I already have a modded patch cable which when inserted into the "Insert" socket .... passes the inputted signal to that channel but then can be use to pass the signal to the input of a different channel - so 1 Bass input Split into 2 channels . I goes to FOH after EQ, the other to the monitor mix with, if necessary a different EQ. Any reason not to do this as an alternative to splitting the incoming bass input. Yes - but the issue is that if there is only 1 bass channel the EQ for FOH and Monitor have to be the same. Whilst I can "globally change my IEM EQ" all the instruments in that mix get the same EQ. So to get the bass sounding OK the guitars/vocals etc can sound awful in the IEM feed. I'm probably over complicating things ..... but I'll try the "Insert" route and if that's no good, I'll try a spitter before the input. And Yes ... The Panning thought was just a way of changing the balance of the inputs (when use as a "summed" Stereo Pair as David says. Tired so the explanations above may not make sense!!! 🙄🤣
  12. No idea. (I haven't been on FaceBook since 2012!) I took it as a part exchange last Friday in a trade with my Status Series 1 that was for sale on here.
  13. That's so positive to hear, Steve. I've had a similar experience with my new band recently. What rig are you playing the Euro LX through? I'm back where I was 15 years ago playing Spectors with HAZ preamps through GK heads into modern quality cabs.
  14. Today
  15. Can anyone here please tell why is this amp so hated, i found one for 80€ and i love the looks and vibe, it cant be that bad can it?
  16. Sod’s Law eh? I nearly messaged you as I saw you had a wanted ad but thought you were specifically after a German one.
  17. Anyone know anybody anywhere could make use of this? School, rehearsal room? Anyone?
  18. but this is a rerelease of the old model from around 2010 IIRC Still gorgeous though lol
  19. Boss OC-5 in very good condition, no scratches marks or chips and in perfect working order with original box and paperwork. This is one that has octave down two octave down and octave up and a polymode where you can play polyphonically and you can select if it's the lowest note of the notes you're playing which it puts a low octave on. It has a bass and guitar input switch too. £95 posted to the UK.
  20. Good choice. I sold off a lot of basses when we hit lockdown, but still kept my 60's CV. Agree about the neck. Ive had my neck on quite a few basses since I got it, but these days it's happily at home on its original body. I do have a set of custom Wizard pups in it, and have changed the bridge as I wasn't a fan of the string spacing (20mm IIR, but prefer 19mm). Other than that, it's all original lol. I also had an original Sire 5 string Jazz, and that played well but was quite heavy.
  21. As it’s collection I’ve dropped the price to £200 as that might help with fuel money if needed 😉
  22. You won’t find a better playing 5-string than this at that price, incredibly well made basses. If I didn’t have one already I’d be buying this one. 👍
  23. Great pedal. Flexible, with a tight punchy compression and some grit if you want it. Works really well on bass 👍🏻
  24. I'll wait for the digital release / Dvd And in any case, I'm playing a show with my Ozzy and sabbath tribute band.
