  2. I use Spotify. Mainly for listening to podcasts. It also lets you add your own audio files. Which I'm not sure people are aware of, so I have a load of playlists created from recordings I've made on my phone from rehearsals.
  3. Thanks all. I think the conclusion is to bite the bullet and put in the miles so that is what I shall do!
  4. Steam(ed) - Peter Gabriel
  5. All stock. I'll post the detail specs shortly.
  6. Now on reverb if anyone wants to pay a little more for it https://reverb.com/item/86557719-music-man-reflex-gamechanger-approx-2015-blackj
  7. Nice, GLWTS!
  8. Pedal bought from Ashdown as I love their signature range - and It's Guy Pratt - who doesn't like guy Pratt ?? But apart from testing it it has sat unused in it's box. So lets find it a great home. Comes with all the "case candy" including the unused rubber feet. Note that it requires a good quality 18v power supply.
  9. That's a signature pedal and the artist would have to request a change. Even at that, we would have to lose the tuner due to the current limitations of phantom power. Personally I'd just add an inexpensive DI box. If you want something similar, the VT Bass DI would be closest but it depends how you dial it in.
  10. Pudding on the Style - Lonnie Donegan
  11. Well, that'll explain the "not even close" comment I think these ones look pretty similar to my untrained eye. Bit of a square pin in a round hole situation, being that they're press fit and the Glockenklang pots are solid shaft, but I'll see what I can come up with...
  12. Looking to sell my 2011 MK Signature Deluxe Balance K. Mahogany body with cocobolo facings. Excellent condition, based near Chester UK. £6700. Any questions just ask. Cheers, Mike. Screen_Recording_20250423_110057_Facebook.mp4

  13. You don’t need to really - or at least it would be a lot of work for little real gain given that to manage output you can balance the G/D and A/E poles with PUP height, and in doing so some of the tone imbalance would at the same time be resolved (and of course by swapping PUP arrangement you’d probably introduce different tone issues) 👍
  14. All of mine have had chromed, knurled, dome-top knobs in some sort of metal. I've never had/played one with tapered plastic knobs.
  15. trapped under rice - metallica
  16. Today
  17. I'm maybe being silly here - do the OG knobs not look like this? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick completely? Have I gone snowblind by looking at many pictures?
  18. I love Fuzz and want to get a new addition- any suggestions please? I’m in a 60’s beat/garage covers band so you probably get the tonal landscape - fat and creamy is what I was thinking (but never mind my obsession with custard) Thanks gang
  19. As another Monza owner here, I can only chime in with extremely positive vibes. I've had my cab a several months now, definitely way past the usual honeymoon period and yet, every single time I use it, I'm blown away with it. For a single cab, with a 1x10" speaker it is incredible. The low end is tight and punchy, all the time, but you can dial in more low end if you wish, the driver can handle it. The best word to describe it, as @cetera stated above, is, "authoritative". There is a solid presence at all volumes, that can't be ignored. I also think it would be a wonderful cab to reinforce a double bass. @stevie is also an absolute star to deal with, and although I'll likely never need it, I have another Monza on my shopping list, as soon as I can afford one. I recommend LFSys and the Monza especially to anyone that'll listen!
  20. The iPhone app allows autoplay to turned off:
  21. SGC Nanyo owners - would you say these knobs are close in appearance to the originals? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08GBTLFN6
  22. That's what I heard as well but the experience turned from bad to horrible.. From neglected to ridiculous.. When there was several back and forth without a proper solution, the luither drill a hole on the fret board without consent Then ensure you the neck/truss rod issue is fixed and promised its ok to turn it. I can feel it's bouncing back but Martin said it's ok to go on Wow and it popped :/.. 1st block of fretboard cracked and 2 frets heads up and say hi to me.. at the end I have to pay for the service to get my bass back with a destroyed neck.
  23. Plex does the trick for me; the streaming source is my collection of mp3s and if I want to keep something I'd get the CD/mp3s. There are some good apps for Plex such as Plexamp and Symfonium. The latter also handles streaming URLs so I can get SomaFM stations and TSF Jazz in the car. When I used to use iOS I tried Apple music but found it horribly buggy and Apple's support useless.
  24. Very sorry to hear that @kuetsum. Martin and John have done all the work on my basses over the last twenty-odd years and have always done an amazing job.
