I think you've hit the nail on the head there, it's rich & sonorous because of the cedar top and the thin finish. Keep going like that, it'll only get better and better.

If it's making the right noise at the moment and your only concern is removing the push/pull, I'd just go with the values of whatever is currently in there.

I'm actually kicking myself about missing out on the Bergantino IP310 powered cab that was in the marketplace the other week. Something like that would be ideal, plug the POD or the FlyRig in, and away you go.

Would it make me sound like a cork sniffer if I said that this was from after they sold out to Peavey... thus said I do have a couple cabs from this era, but very much prefer the older amps.

@Hellzero I want to remove the push/pull entirely, not wire in split and series modes. @tauzero this is very helpful, thank you 🙏🏻 would you use 500k pots instead?
