  1. Past hour
  2. In good used condition (with a few superficial scratches on the front). Comes in/with original box and packaging. Happy to post at buyers expense, and can even deliver locally - but collection preferred.
  3. Damage Case - Motorhead
  4. @ead just out of curiousity, do you still have them both?
  5. Possibly, though I'm not sure what I could do much differently. I don't get obvious callouses but I just find that if I've not done a few 15-20 minute practice sessions in the week, and then try to hit a 3 hour jam session on the weekend, I'll be at risk. If I've put that bit of pre-work in then I'm good to go, but I don't always have the time, inclination or advance notice.
  6. I noticed that my shadow in pic 1 resembles a crime scene marker from police squad!
  7. In my teenage incarnation, Our band had a disagreement over the tempo of a Santana song we were going to cover. After much heated disagreement, I rolled the drummer's snare down a four-flight, stone staircase. The end. Probably the best tempo it had kept for a few months.
  8. I don't have a digital caliper to measure it with such exact precision. But I imagine those specifications can be found on the Fodera website.
  9. I blackballed you at the Awards Committee. I should not have mentioned that. Not have mentioned that at all.
  10. I play fingerstyle quite hard but don't get blisters or callouses. Is it a technique thing?
  11. Ampeg got everything right with the V4b, lovely amp.
  12. Fuzzrocious Grey Stache sold to ProjeKtWEREWOLF just recently. Nice easy transaction and good communication throughout. Thanks!
  13. I've mentioned this before on BC, but I once left a band by going to the toilet during a rehearsal and escaping through the toilet window. There's more to the story, but the crux of it is that I ran away in the least dignified way.
  14. needle and the damage done - Neil Young
  15. I'm a fan (geddit?) of these amps too, really punchy, full sound, I have one which is my back-up. It is only used in loud situations so the noise isn't a problem for me.
  16. The final shape I'm going with, once ive got in hand I might take a bit off here and there but generally very happy with it 👌
  17. A long overdue update that the body is finally thicknessed and ready to work on. Next step is to get the updated template printed and get chopping.
  18. Today
  19. I'm a Grand master. I guess that means I've spent even less time practising, or living a life, than you!!
  20. A few years ago, I was fired by a drummer and it wasn't even his band. I complained to the band leader but she was so intimidated by this guy that she wouldn't talk to him about it! Even more years ago I was being screwed around by a band leader. He started cancelling gigs, then started cancelling gigs and not bothering to tell me!! I told him to shove it and I'd never play with him again, and haven't. It was a shame because that was a very good band!
  21. I realise nobody was asking me, but... I play acoustic rock and singer-songwriter stuff with fingers as I prefer the sound for those genres, and I use a pick for pretty much everything else. The 'everything else' is a much greater proportion of my playing time, though, so my fingers aren't always in the kind of shape that can withstand hours of playing without risking blisters. Some seem to accept blistered fingers as an occupational hazard (maybe because it's their only option) but I can just switch to pick and not have to suffer, so having a pick and/or pick technique that gets me somewhere in the ballpark of my finger-style sound is really useful as it keeps things consistent-ish.
  22. Ant bought a Handbox WB-100 from me this week. Great comms and payer making it all a nice and simple transaction..... Highly recommended.
  23. Bottom pic of me playing is at a festival and represents what colour the bass is.
  24. Yeh, its gone up since I bought mine, crazy the cost of living IMG_9101.mov
