  2. Oh i'm in Anyone that works in a music shop and insists in engaging in a conversation with me. When all i want to do is try something i will never buy Basses with the headstock that matches the body. When did interior design take over the bass world Jeff Berlin because he has a signature Cort bass and i fell for it. They will only ever sound good on fire!! Amps with sh*t loads of buttons. Just fook off Rehersal studios Any bass over £500. Ive had them all and none were keepers. Not worth a tos* Hardcase gig bags. unless your on a plane. Your only driving up the road you muppet

  4. The Colonel Bogey March a.k.a. "Hitler has only got one Ball".
  5. Wish I had a bit of spare cash it’d be nice to have a fretless partner for my fretted Lionel
  6. He’s a lovely lad, known him for years - can’t fault him on anything…except…that. So we don’t talk about the plastic plates on guitars
  7. This is all tremendously helpful! Thank you all very much. Yes, it is the older 4B suitcase so it’s around 300w and my amp is the TH500 - I’ll have to be a bit careful not to push tooooo hard but it’ll only be for low volume stuff anyway so I’m not too concerned. Looking at the impedance to help with that is a very good idea. Also, the info and tips about testing speakers with multimeter is very much appreciated. I’ve a mate who has a background in electrical engineering so I might brace myself to take it to him (he’ll delight in explaining everything in eye-watering detail) and show him your comments to see if he can help with the testing, discuss wiring schemes/impedance etc. But I’m very heartened that it all seems very doable. Hopefully it’ll all work out and both save me a few hundred quid and the world a few resources. Thanks again! Liam
  8. That's interesting. I was going to ask why you upgraded. I was assured when I was looking that the only difference was the badge on the front. Back then the pre amps were 'Midas Designed' in the Behringer and Midas pre amps in the X18. Frustratingly I never got an answer to what that meant.
  9. Here is the condition of the misdirected parcel, so a day later, that I received from DPD today, here in the South of Belgium. It left the Music Store warehouse totally intact 3 days ago. And it's always like that: They simply don't give a shìt about the parcels. No comment! Thankfully, there was no damage to the master keyboard inside. They are the only courier with which I have these problems over here and I also have lodged a complaint for the lost/stolen parcel, of course.

  12. Hi Everyone, I’m selling my Sennheiser EW 100 G4 Wireless Instrument System with Ci1 (E Band) £400 - including UK postage I’ve used this once live and less than a handful of times in a pre-prod environment. Owned for a couple of years and it lived in a rack. Complete with all original parts, plus the extra rack components for mounting and a couple of extra right angle cables for the body pack. Cheers!
  13. Price drop - £135 includes UK postage Hi, I’m selling my Aguilar Octamizer version 2. Well looked after and very little use. £185 price includes UK Postage. Here’s a bit of info from Aguilar: AN ALL-ANALOG OCTAVE PEDAL THAT CREATES A WIDE RANGE OF MUSICAL SOUNDS AN OCTAVE BELOW YOUR BASS SIGNAL. Modeled with old school and new school needs in mind, the Octamizer features independent volume controls for both the Clean and Octave sounds. This makes dialing in the exact amount of each a cinch. The two discrete signal paths also have their own tone controls that were specifically designed to enhance and expand their musical possibilities. The CLEAN TONE control uses a full spectrum tilt EQ, allowing for the boosting of treble while cutting bass or boosting of bass while cutting treble. This unique circuit allows you to create a clean sound that creates an octave doubling effect or to blend the sounds together for a great thick, snarky synth tone. *Pedal powered by universal 9-volt power supply only. Not included. Proprietary detector circuit for superior tracking Continuously variable multipole low-pass filter for Octave sound Dual filter architecture Full spectrum tilt EQ for clean sound Pedal powered by universal 9-volt power supply only. Not included. Cheers! Michael

One slight little chip to the paint on the top (photo below) and there’s a bit of sticker residue on the bottom left over from previous Velcro. Thanks, Mike
  15. He's not your mate. Not with that sort of behaviour. He's just someone you haven't buried under your patio.... yet. And I congratulate you for your self control.
  16. Since the OP mentioned Belgium as the destination I feel obliged to communicate that I am currently pursuing a case of commercial misconduct against FedEx Benelux. I’ll spare everybody the details, but needless to say it involved fraudulent activity on behalf of that courier company and loss/theft of the package. It’s being investigated and it is separately insured. By way of sharing my “Belgian” experience, I have found GLS is sloppy overall, UPS poorly served in Flemish district and BPost (the national equivalent to Royal Mail) is slow, but steady. DPD has a clean sheet with me at present and I have no affiliation or special “fufu” dust to sprinkle to ensure that it stays that way. As others have mentioned, ensure adequate insurance and record every action involved. Having a comprehensive dossier to present to the police, courier investigators etc should assist comprehensive follow up. Good luck whoever you choose.
  17. My mate calls them scratchguards. Drives me loopy.

  19. I hate lazy renaming of things too. While I'm at it, string instruments have a fingerboard, because the wooden board glued onto the neck doesn't necessarily have frets. It's not a fretboard.
  20. What a great colour! Looks fantastic against that fretboard.
  21. Feel of the neck and I prefer the look of this style bridge with the heavier saddles and side bolts.
  22. still for sale and will you post for a price?
  23. All including UK postage. Becos CompIQ MINI Pro Compressor £155 (Mint condition) Jam Ripple Bass Phaser £105 J.Rockett GTO (Guthrie Trapp Overdrive) £160
