  1. Past hour
  2. Nice bass, but then I would say that given that I’ve one of its maple-boarded cousins! Out of the many basses I’ve had over the years my TT SL is pretty much the only one that has received compliments on the sound from every band I’ve played it with.
  3. Any trades / part-ex or just straight sale? Thanks.
  4. Yep, glad you’ve finally got it
  5. Hi Apologies for delay. I'm based near Ramsgate Kent
  6. I've seen something I'd like to get so will let this go for £850.
  7. I don't know if this helps, but technically brown is orange. I have seen this bass in the wild and it seemed like a very typical brown, in a normal orange way. Fun fact: purple only exists in your mind, it isn't a wavelength of light.
  8. ⚡️Pricedrop ⚡️
  9. I’ve had both the Fishman and the EBS and the Stanley Clarke box beats it hands down. It’s optimists for bass, intuitive to use and provides phantom power (which I need for my Nadine).
  10. I had no idea Bunde (can't do umlauts on this keyboard, unfortunately) was German for fret. I used to live near the town called Bunde in the eastern region of NRW, back in the day. Anyway, bass looks great, good luck with the sale!
  11. In January last year I bought my first Sandberg - a VM4 - which I absolutely love. I’ve never played a Sandberg that didn’t feel great in my hand. They are so very playable. The fact that at 7 and a half pound it was 3lbs lighter than my other basses got me thinking… so in August I ordered one of their Superlight basses from Music Store (the artist formerly known as Digital Village). It was supposed to arrive around Easter but actually arrived last Saturday. I’m absolutely chuffed with it! The black burst finish looks lovely over the paulownia wood and they aren’t kidding with “Superlight”. The bass weights in at only 6.2 lbs - and feels both featherlight and balanced on the strap. Even the pau ferro fingerboard looks rich and rosewoody rather than grey-brown! The layout is basically standard active/passive Jazz with two band EQ. This produces all the sounds I would expect and also feels a little more alive and “springy” than many Jazzes that I’ve played - which is how I like it. There’s lots of pleasant top end where it should be but the lightweight body doesn’t remove and feeling of an authoritative bass end. I got to use it properly pretty much straight away as I was playing in the church worship band on Sunday night.Sounded great through the church amp both for finger style and plectrum songs. I ended up playing about four songs at the following night’s Monday Night Jam - ranging from Simon and Garfunkel and James Taylor to Steeleye Span and the bass fitted in whichever style was needed (it was a folk theme night at the jam on Monday). Can’t wait to try it out in some more situations and styles but headline thoughts are that I just love this bass; it’s perfect for my aging old bones. 😉🤣

  13. Clearing out a few things due to not doing much The real deal for LA-2A compression, owned this for about a year I think it was from the second or third batch (he only makes batches of 25 about every 6-8 months) Meticulously built to replicate the teletronix la-2a . Can be used as a limiter too. Very rare over here I think it's just over £1200 to buy/import one now. £875 Heres a detailed review using on bass

  14. Does anyone know if it's possible to get singles of the Low Tension Flats anywhere? I have looked online, but can't find any. I've just put a brand new 5-string set on a new 35" scale bass, played it once, and in a freak accident (I tripped over with the bass on, banging the bass into the finial of a bedstead, which thankfully didn't damage the bass!), managed to snap the E-string (it seems it took the brunt of the blow). I have managed to stick an unknown (possibly standard La Bella flat) on there for now, but it was cut for a 34" bass so is a bit short and the difference in feel is doing my head in. So, do I have stump up for another new set of strings as a result of my clumsiness?

  18. Selling this for a friend who's not using it any more. Midnight Blue MIM Standard Jazz made in 1999. Nice colour and well looked after ....no major dings I could see.....just needs a quick set up and it will be good to go. It's been sat in our dry, clean 'ish' rehearsal room for a few years and needs a new home. At the moment it's collection from south Manchester but could travel 20 max 30 minutes for a meet up if required. I forgot to weigh it before when I took the photos. Will add the weight next week. No trades thanks.

  19. ….and of course if you installed a pair of Dimarzio model Ps in there the adjustable pole pieces would have it covered anyway 👍

    Ooooops!

Oh bum! Wrong bit of the forum! Bah!
  21. Too many. Definitely though this one was a Fender, seeing how they even made it in the same color with the same pickguard. Damn, talk about a lack of imagination!
  22. Pic of the swag! Pedal topper pic, badge a stick on no slip ‘bottom’ thing warrant card etc.
  23. Are these "standard" options to fill the gap left by the Forte? There's a big gap between the price of the higher specced Euro basses and the Woodstock instruments.
