  4. I honestly don’t recall, it was sold on here. Hardly used, as you say they’re loud! I’d had all the ‘boutique’ 2x12s before and this was the one that I liked most. Just sat so well with a band and not a total chore to move! GLWTS!
  5. Zak says: "I was fired two weeks after reinstatement and asked to make a statement saying I had quit the who to pursue my other musical endevours this would be a lie. I love the who and would never had quit. So I didn’t make the statement ….quitting the who would also have let down the countless amazing people who stood up for me (thank you all a million times over and more) thru the weeks of mayhem of me going ‘in an out an in an out an in an out like a bleedin squeezebox x To clarify ‘other projects’ yes I do have other projects and always have. The Who have been sporadic or minimalist in touring most years apart from a two extensive tours in 2000 and 2006/7 To be precise while I was in the who 1996-1999 I had other projects with Johnny Marr, Lightning Seeds and Mike Scott. 2000-2003 Johnny Marr and The Healers opening for oasis in Europe releasing album and 6 month world tour 2004-2008 Oasis 2 studio albums and 120live shows. 2006-2017 Pengu!Ns , Sshh touring internationally. Releasing 3 singles, Kasabian bbc proms 2007 Weller Coxon Starkey Mani. 2015 Hollywood Vampires Roxy LA shows and rock in Rio 2017-2020 Trojan Jamaica record label releasing three albums and winning Grammy for best reggae album 2020 2020 Peter Green Tribute Concert . As u see there has always been time for other projects … 2022-2025/now mantra of the cosmos with Shaun Ryder Bez Andy Bell and NG. Releasing singles but not touring cos members are so busy. None of this has ever interfered with The Who and was never a problem for them . The lie is or would have been that I quit the who- i didn’t. I love the who and everyone in it."
  6. Thanks for this info. Sadly, shipping on both those sites is more expensive than the string itself!
  7. Hi Nick, Thank you for posting Nick's foundation info. I can't imagine how proud he would be to know this exists... It was good to meet you at the studio, thought I'd join the BC forum now I'm learning to play bass. Kathryn (aka Blondy!) Ps purchased a little Squier Mustang in Olympic white 😍
  8. Sorry man, I’ve another set but they’re clover and relic’d if any good?
  9. Just in case, here is the link to the user manual: https://www.tascam.eu/en/docs/CD-BT2_Manual.pdf
  10. Stray Cattle Strut - The Stray Cats
  11. Damn that went quick. You can add *SOLD* to the title to close this thread
  12. Since this one has the compressor circuit not the drive circuit i don't think this is a Forte D?. I'm not too up that au fait with Bergantino stuff, but i assume this model pre-dates the current Forte D. I think the EQ centers might be different.. could be wrong. nice amp though
  13. Yamaha DXR 8 Active Speaker This unit has been used as a keyboard monitor and comes with brand new Yamaha outdoor semi waterproof cover and mains lead. It is in good condition although it has lost its control knob caps. Everything works as it ought to. It is in very good cosmetic condition It’s very powerful for an 8” active cab. Great little multi purpose speaker. The original woofer has been replaced with a recommended Fane equivalent. Power Output: Dynamic: 1100W (LF: 950W HF: 150W) / Continuous: 700W (LF: 600W HF: 100W) Frequency Range: 57Hz - 20kHz Inputs: XLR-3-31 x1 , INPUT2: Phone x2, INPUT3: RCA PIN x 2, THRU: XLR3-32 x 1 (Parallel with INPUT 1 ), LINK OUT: XLR x 1 Pole Mounts: 2 options - 1 straight and 1 angular socket for mounting at downward angles Dimensions: 280mm (11") x 458mm (18") x 280mm (11") Weight: 13.5kg (29.8lbs) Pickup preferred but I can post at buyer’s cost. It is very well built and the packed weight will reflect this so I envisage it will be around £20 to post it. UK only. Priced to reflect the replacement driver and lack of control caps.
  14. I usually blame the drummer when its tuning issues. 😂 TBH i just blame the drummer for everything. Is that not why we have them ? 🤣 Dave
  15. Had to find a lookalike of my first amp. Did its job I suppose!
  16. One of my daughters was running the Hackney Half too. She got a PB. Your music must have lifted her to new levels! 😀👍
  17. It’s mainly the scarcity that is pushing the prices up. Obviously the premium graphite necked stuff is going for all the money these days, but the wooden necks with graphite rods are catching up fast. I’m heading down to Kent on Friday to pick up a really nice ‘94 Series-1 wooden through neck instrument. Even that will be up for around £900 if I choose to move it on.
  18. fixed
  19. Hi, No but I can record some when I get home.
  20. … the clean blend is useful on the Alma, but it doesn’t have a mid EQ like the Diamond. Both are very nice, but I particularly like the Alma as it’s made in the UK 🇬🇧
  21. I'll take that if neepheld doesn't want it. More than happy to wait on that outcome.
  22. Similarly disappointed. (My dad-joke on seeing "Huge carpet sale" signs.)
  23. I think I was there at the time On here it says May 18th 2007, but I'm pretty sure I was there
