  1. Past hour
  2. I'd say that some bands seek extra volume specifically to *avoid* being heard more clearly....
  3. Please Cheese Me - The Beatles
  4. Need this gone, price drop to £1075
  5. I think that rather than passing thousands of new laws which basically legislate against BellEndery, they should just do it properly and make Unfettered Bellendery And Acting Like A Knob a crime in itself.
  6. @Beedster has had one for sale on here. I’d been considering it to get a second one for my other board. I love mine.
  7. My Whey - Frank SInatra, Sex Pistols
  8. if you wanted non standard string spacing Jazz pickups it wouldn't be that expensive to have them made, and you could use closed covers to mask the fact - or in this case use them to prevent ocd triggering
  9. Hi Rabbie Have you got an EVah Pirazzi Weich E & A available by any chance?
  10. Thom bought various pedalboard bits and bobs off me and all was good! Recommended BCer 😀
  11. I’ve played this and it’s amazing. Beautiful bass and lovely rich and complex sound. Tom always done amazing things with my basses (to the sound, obviously.)
  12. Great to play some very Dusty Hill...
  13. Goddammit it sounds good too! That's really not helpful.
  14. I never actually tried the original Beat Buddy, but always wanted one. This, however, looks pretty phenomenal! Interested to see what the UK retail price is for it.
  15. Luxury! Why, when I were a lad ...
  16. Very decent piece of rack gear, equally suitable for studio or live use (I've used it both ways). The two multi-way cable clips on top are there by self-adhesive stuff and will remove. I found them useful enough to choose to leave them there for the new owner. The original box is present, as seen in the photos, but not the polystyrene inserts. I'll use bubble wrap for postage. 18. My eye (yes, I have two. Don't worry...) was caught by the cool looking lever at the top of the bridge - does this amazingly manly bass have a lever that deploys the string mutes? Bet MusicMan wish they'd thought of that before adding those fiddly tiny metal round screws under the bridges of Classic Stingrays. Seriously impressed by the intonation calibration markings on the bridge as well. If Bang & Olufsen made basses, they would make basses like this.
  19. Thats a great deal - my X18 has been the bedrock of our band for almost a decade and never skipped a beat! GLWS
  20. Vintage 1980's Westone Thunder 1A Active Electric Bass from Matsumoku Factory, Japan - Fretless. Manufactured between 1981 and 1989. Serial number 4071308 Check out the Westone website as it holds useful information. Different eras of this iconic bass but otherwise very much the same instrument (other than being fretless + active). This f/less bass has been converted from an originally fretted bass. There are the usual signs of pitting/wear to the original metallic hardware (SEE PHOTOS). Pots run smooth with no crackle currently when played. Knobs pitted and aged. There are signs of surface scratching and small dings etc. as photographed. instrument has a basic, somewhat tatty, generic hardcase. Price includes UK 24/48h courier delivery
