  2. Wow these are amazing photos! Great work! The photo of Neil checking his watch to see how many more songs we could play before getting kicked out for the disco made me laugh!
  3. My wife says she's not lending me these again though! So I would have to invest in a proper acrilic heater!
  4. I agree Chris, but I do get great protection from the foamies, it's just that the top end gets cut much more than on fancy plugs so I am sacrificing on my experience of the quality of the sound rather than protection for my ears. Foamies will cut up to 38db which is more than any of the fancy ones could last time I checked.
  5. I know what wood sounds like when I bang my head on a door frame. I wouldn't call it musical.
  6. My Lockdown Project.........
  7. Hi Bill, excuse my ignorance but could you elaborate on what you mean by "rising mid range" for me please?
  8. Sly and the Family Atone Fatsack Band Trouble Fu*k Punkadelic
  9. Not possible to say. It will vary from instrument to instrument (even the same make/model). No two are exactly alike. You'll just have to experiment to see what works for your instrument and gear. I would say there is unlikely to be a specific frequency, but a spread of them. The way they interact is important.
  10. She's extremely good, but there are plenty of red hot young players around.
  11. My favourite compressor. So simple to use and get great results that even a luddite like me can use it. Price includes UK shipping.
  12. Bought a MIJ Fender Precision scratchplate from Seb this week. Great comms and fast delivery..... Top man.
  13. This is my favourite bass drive pedal, but I just got an Anagram so needs to go. It's a Rat based pedal, designed to emulated Justin Chancellor's tone. Comes with original box, price includes UK shipping.
  14. Love the two tone wenge neck, I miss those days of wenge necks on my Warwicks!
  15. ta 🙂 If you are interested, there are some more to see here https://adobe.ly/4pylowk
  16. This is a lovely compressor with a really useful tilt EQ, which is great to tweak your sound to the room. Includes original box, price includes UK shipping.

  17. Not even all Aria Pro IIs were very good to play, but Maya, Marchis, Greco et al., no thanks. Zerosette (07) has probably been the most non playable instrument I have tried.
  18. Just got this used today from Bass Direct and it's put a massive smile on my face. Not a Fender or Sire (which to me is a plus)
  19. I bought this about a month ago, and ended up buying an Anagram, so no longer needed. I've tried all the Darkglass pedals, and this one is the most flexible IMO. Original box included, price includes UK postage.
  20. Just bought a Darkglass Anagram, so shifting a few pedals. Used this for a few years and it never missed a beat. The Pedalnetics switch is great, it gives you two more assignable switches without taking up more board space. Comes with original box and power supply. UK postage included.
  21. Hi, For sale the above, in full working order and great condition. Not needed now, recording finished. Price includes UK Mainland Delivery.
  22. Today
  23. Hearing protection is not an area where anyone should be cutting corners. Just saying! I've used ACS at Santa Pod, NFL games, concerts and gigs for the last 20 years. A drummer friend has used both and rates Loop Ear Plugs, but I'm sticking to ACS for now.
  24. This is a super cool alternative to the other options out there. Decksaver do a few pedal options, and they are good, but they only cover a few key brands. Rockboard Pedalsafe is another option, but is, IMO, highly over engineered. I really like the simplicity of this design.
  25. the sound of silence - Simon and his uncle
  26. Yeah they are a bit small, I am going to try a custom branding iron which is on order.
