  1. Past hour
  2. On a plus note its great to see so many 60+ bassists keeping themselves busy and hopefully i'll keep going a good bit yet all going well. (currently 65) Dave
  3. At 65 now i've suffered back and shoulder issues over the years. Last 4 yrs going to gym has definitely helped but you need to find out what exercises will help your issue. The gym Personal Trainers have all been very helpful in the small family run gym i use. Weight training in past 6mths has been a godsend for me. Not rapid movements but slow controlled weight lifting with 3 second negatives. I still won't use a 10lb plus bass for a full gig but prefer my Sandbergs which are a good easy weight around the 8.5 lbs. Pretty sure i've had this conversation with @Lozz196 before and he's been down the fitness route too but obviously not resolved his own back issue. Dave
  4. Tbh, the frets are knackered but I'm fitting some new flats later on tonight and see how it plays. A great deal as well 😎
  5. Nice job! Daryl
  6. I have cab carnage in the conservatory and Mrs Rocks would like a resolution. Reduced to £160 for quick sale. Rob
  7. That’s lovely. What a find and at the perfect moment too by the sound of it. Then again, bass is all about the timing, right. Nice one.
  8. I'm retired/ pensioner. I probably won't have any contact or connection with people until my gig this Saturday. Daryl
  9. Seems odd that despite the takeover apparently being a done deal some weeks ago that there's doesn't seem to have been any official announcement by Fender either about aquiring the company or what their future plans for the brand and it's various models are.
  10. You mean aside from hanging upside down in the wardrobe at night whilst sleeping…..
  11. I’d say genuine, and from what I’ve read a good range of basses so a good score. Agree with the thoughts of changed pickguard.
  12. - why not? They own it now. (That bit of his history)
  13. You can pm me ..
  14. Given their actions so far, I'm not sure that Fender will have much interest in putting the workshop Leo used to design non Fender branded instruments on display. I don't think they necessarily want that part of his history memorialised.
  15. They probably cleared it out in order to recreate it in Fender's Corona facility. I'm imagining something a bit like what they did with Francis Bacon's art studio when they moved it from his old home in London to the Hugh Lane gallery in Dublin.
  16. Can You Dig It? - The Mock Turtles
  17. I sold a US Special P bass on here a few years back for around £650 and I could have sold it 3 times over. They are decent basses and a MIM Mustang generally goes for around £550 so I reckon you got a good deal. And as above it looks genuine.
  18. But what about the two together? How Jazz does that get? What's that limited edition of 79 one?
  19. Nope… just those options on the website. Contacted andertons and they are importing one for me for £10 plus £4 postage. Baffling….
  20. Royal Blues, at The West Hampstead Arts Club, Friday 14th November, 2025. Supporting Denzeity. At the time of posting there are a limited number of 'Ridiculously Early Bird' tickets available for £4.40. https://wegottickets.com/event/679624/
  21. Today
  22. That's certainly not normal. 68% of people commute by car amd the average commute time is 28minutes... Figures for September 2025 show lunchtume dining up 5% and up 7% on Fridays. People are slowly coming back.
  23. I absolutely love that Jazzy, congratulations, it looks great, look forward to seeing any more pics
  24. The bridge J pickup on my PJ Euro sounds nothing like the bridge on my Jazz bass so I doubt the J neck pickup will sound much like tge jazz neck pickup.
  25. Tidied up thread to just show the three available - will take offers and trades - try me
