sifi2112 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Yeah I found a great seat but also had to buy two which went up to £850 ! (Before admin & insurance) I managed to find a single seat (albeit further away) but still the most I’ve ever paid for a gig lol Manchester AO Edited 19 hours ago by sifi2112 Quote
martthebass Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I love Rush, especially the first decade of stuff. Saw them way back when in Leeds (Permanent Waves tour?) but haven't ventured to repeat. I'm afraid I hate arena gigs these days, they leave me cold and uninvolved so I doubt I'll make an exception this time around. 1 Quote

I can't buy one ("There is a minimum of 2 tickets for this ticket type"), nor can I buy two ("Stranded single tickets are not allowed, please adjust your selection"), nor can i buy three ("You must select 2 tickets together") 😬 😖 🫠 I was frustrated by this on my first attempt. There were 5 of us that wanted to go on the Thursday. When I logged in, there were 5 left in one row in a reasonable position and I stuck them all in my cart thereby selling out the row. It wouldn’t let me do it for the same reason. Well, the warning was the same, but it didn’t matter how I edited my basket, it wouldn't let me buy them. I ended having to come out and go back in again to do it another way 🤷♂️ Quote

RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted 17 hours ago Author Posted 17 hours ago Mmm…there is still more room for added dates! 🤔 just saying .. Quote
cetera Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Apparently there is one more Manchester and one more London to be added. Quote
Lozz196 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago A mate of mine got four seated at London O2 for £105 each. Said seating on floor was £450 going down to £320 as you hit further away. Quote

WinterMute Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I got 4 on the floor at the O2 for £270 each, still steep, but I like to think I'm keeping Lifeson in pasta in his old age... Quote
hiram.k.hackenbacker Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Anyone think it concerning Lifeson has ‘health issues’, has been to a clinic and is now wearing that daft neckerchief? 🤫 Quote

Alex has had arthritis for ages. The neckerchief? He’s an artiste, darling . At least I hope that’s all it is. Geddy has been wearing a scarf for years, maybe Alex wants in on that action? Quote
itu Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago This dynamic pricing is ridiculous. No, I will not see them this time. Most likely never ever. Quote
markbunney Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Am gonna try and grab one in the O2 priority presale tomorrow morning Quote
Daz39 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago As a coop member I can get presale tickets for Manchester tomorrow morning. Will have a look. Not feeling hopeful about prices. Quote

RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted 10 hours ago Author Posted 10 hours ago Regarding ticket prices in general , when I did go to gigs I always went for the most expensive ticket whenever I could . When I saw Rush at the London o2 clockwork angels tour , I had to let my friend get the tickets . I told him to buy the dearest ..but he purchased the slightly cheaper ones. This meant that although at ground level , we could only see half of the backing orchestra 🤦♂️Idiot ! My last time seeing Rush 😮💨🙂 Quote

It was well away from the stage and completely detached from any involvement. Quote
NancyJohnson Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The amount of 'no Neil/no Rush' commentary online is as ridiculous as it is incredible; I've also seen multiple posts from rabid fanboys questioning whether Annika Nilles will be playing Peart's old drum kits (and utilising the services of his old drum tech/techs, to boot), why they went with a female drummer, why have they called this Rush? and why they didn't choose Mike Portnoy. I don't think these points are particularly hateful, I just believe these are fans (primarily men) that are of the belief that with Neil dead, the band should die with him. Honestly, you really need to question the mindset of these people. In Lifeson and Lee, you have two of the most successful musicians on the planet; they've not gone out on tour for a decade in any shape or form. For the love of god, why can't this just be a celebration of all things Rush? Geddy and Alex have conducted themselves admirely considering their loss; walk with grief, but don't stop enjoying life. All said and done, I'm staying home. I saw them enough times from the first UK tour. Ticket prices are ridiculous and the London venue is a place I abhor. I'll wait for the inevitable Blu-ray. 1 Quote
