Gunsfreddy2003 Posted yesterday at 15:52 Posted yesterday at 15:52 I have taken the brave decision to launch a new print and digital bass magazine for the UK market. I've been publishing magazines in my day job for 27 years and think it's terrible that we don't have a dedicated magazine anymore. We launch the mag officially at the Birmingham Bass & Guitar Show next month where we will have a small stand and giving away a sample issue (while stocks last) - we will then publish quarterly moving forward. Editor is Joel McIver who ran Bass Guitar magazine and then Bass Player so no cheap AI generated content here! Website is here You can subscribe via the website - our socials launch on Monday. If you are at the show next month come and say hello - be nice to put faces to names. The cover of our sample issue is here for your thoughts and comments. 28 7 Quote

We will only be selling via a direct subscription model (print and/or digital) too niche a market to get any meaningful newstrade distribution I'm afraid. 3 Quote

jonno1981 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago £6.95 delivered? Seems very reasonable! Loads of the specialist magazines (not those sort) in Smith’s are £9.99. Good for you for filling a gap and taking a risk. I’ll sign up! 1 Quote
jonno1981 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I’ve just tried to sign up and after entering bank details I get this message and it takes me back to the previous page. Details are correct? I’ll try from laptop in a bit. Quote
rwillett Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Subscribed. Was hoping to be subscriber #1 but suspect I missed that one. Rob Quote

dmccombe7 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Many thanks for going "old school". I still love reading magazines rather than online threads. For me this takes me back to when our only way of finding out about basses and gear was to read reviews in mags. I used to collect them, keep them and use for reference when i fancied another bass. I had a few subscriptions to motorcycle mags but they went all online. I've never read any since. Its just not the same as having a mag in your hand. Such a great idea and wish you all the very best with it. Dave 1 Quote
odub Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Absolutely what Dave says above, this takes me back to being a teenager and I’m in. 2 Quote

Lozz196 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Very interested in this, an actual magazine much better than online for me. 2 Quote
