There's also a few guitars in the same finish, it looks like the Jazz is the only bass offering.

It's a bit flat... a pearl finish would have been snazzier. Ultimately it's always going to be second-best to burgundy mist metallic though 🤩

Didn't they try mixed-magnet pickups a few years back? And people said that they sounded much better if you took them out and rotated them 180 degrees 😆

To be fair I think the pic I lifted from Andertons may not do it justice, it looks a bit more vibrant in some of the video clips on Instagram.

 

But even in the best light you're dead right about it being a poor cousin to Burgundy Mist.

Well, I think it's a great colour - particularly with the matching headstock - and I look forward to being able to snap one up for a song later on in the year 😛

 

I think it could look rather saucy with the pickguard and hardware changed to black.

Without sounding like a twit, I’d find it really hard to dress with a bass of that colour. Not a fan. Stack knobs are cool though.

Tort goes with every bass colour. TalkBass told me so it must be true.

I like the look though.

I'd add a black pickguard, thumb rest and an ashtray bridge cover.

 

If it's even remotely similar my 60th Ann. RW Jazz, it will play and sound beautifully (and I imagine it's the same for the most part - bar finishing)

I stand corrected! With my poor eyesight and a small laptop screen it looked like it said Indonesia. Doh.... lol!
