Norris Posted yesterday at 10:10 Posted yesterday at 10:10 Just a heads up - Vulfpeck "artist" pre-sale is on now. I've already got mine 😀 https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/vulfpeck-london-08-07-2026/event/3500635CD09A93BC 1 Quote
cetera Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I was considering it, but too big a venue. If it was Hammy-O or Brixton Academy I'd consider it... 1 Quote

I'm inclined to agree with you there mate. I know they've played big venues (MSG for example) which have similar capacity, but for me, they work best in venues like the Academy. I know I've shared this before, but it always makes me laugh. I was there with the singer from the Bowie band (were you there as well @ASW?) and he couldn't believe people were singing along to what is essentially a bass solo. It was a cracking gig. Quote

I'm not keen on large venues either, but it's either see them there or not at all, and the whole family want to go 1 Quote
Burns-bass Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago My cousin (bass player) has got his too. He’s massively excited by the whole thing and that makes me happy. Quote
jonno1981 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I visited the o2 for the first time at the weekend to watch fitness panto “gladiators live” with the family. We sat opposite where the stage would be. Honestly, it felt too big. If I saw a band, I’d have to get floor tickets and get within 50 yards of the stage, otherwise I just wouldn’t bother. Quote
Lozz196 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago For me Wembley Arena is the biggest venue that’s worth going to. Even then the sound can suffer a bit but mostly it’s ok. 1 Quote

I wasn't there unfortunately. Although I prefer smaller venues in general, I quite like the O2. Easy to get to from where I am, the facilities are good and the accessibility is great for those who are disabled. The sound can be hit and miss, especially if you are sitting up in the gods, but live sound generally is patchy at best in all venues. I'm up for going @hiram.k.hackenbacker If you are. Quote
uk_lefty Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Just got my tickets... Standing area. Going with a guitarist friend. What will be the split of the crowd in a ratio of bassists, guitarists, keys, drummers? Agree that it's a huge venue for what would be best in a sweaty little club but it's one night only so for me I just think it's too good an opportunity to miss. Edited 1 hour ago by uk_lefty Quote
