Someone asked me on the thread below about seeing some of the Trace Elliot cabs I've been collecting and fixing. I'd be happy to see how much I can squeeze in the car, although if there are thoughts of a cab comparisons I could probably bring a 1x15, 1x18, 2x10 and 4x10, and maybe also the classic 2x10 + 2x5 cab favoured by Mark King, albeit space may prevent this!

Don’t want to be a prophet of doom, but just a warning that there are extensive engineering works on the local railway lines on the 9th. It will be replacement buses running on the Reading - Waterloo and Guildford-Reading/Ascot lines. So plan extra time if you’re coming that way, or see if you can arrange a lift. ☹️

Obviously, I can't speak for the organisers of this Bash, but from a punters perspective, It would be great to have you there on the day if you can make it.

 

In my experience, the South East Bass Bash has massively benefited over the years from the contributions of a wide variety of professional players, who have shared some of their unique experiences and insights... 

 

So a talk /presentation by your good self  on the day would be absolutely amazing.

Thanks very much, @Mike Brooks - I think it'd be great if you would come and share some of your experiences, knowledge, and anecdotes.

We're now moving into the month leading up to the event and expect to cover off preparations over the next week or so.
As per @NancyJohnson's update, we've got two rooms at the venue which facilitates having talks/presentations, which have always been enjoyable and enlightening in previous years.

Paul and I are having a meet-up midweek.  I think we'll be trying to get some timings allotted for talks/Q&A etc.  We may need a basic PA of some sort, so if you have a powered monitor that we could use, please let us know. 

 

I would like to do a blind test shootout again with Gary @cetera, so if you have a bass that you'd like included in that can you please let me know the make/model/specifics and ensure you have a stand for it (I'd need to print up some cards for marking).  You can check the format here:
