Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted yesterday at 10:20 Posted yesterday at 10:20 (edited) I'm not going but a good friend is doing a didjeridu performance & workshop at 11am on Thursday at Toad Hall in the Green Futures field. Edited yesterday at 10:20 by Jean-Luc Pickguard 1 Quote
Supernaut Posted yesterday at 11:00 Posted yesterday at 11:00 Is this coming up? It's not like the BBC have mentioned it... #SmashThatCapitalism! 1 Quote
MacDaddy Posted yesterday at 11:39 Posted yesterday at 11:39 I'd love to play it, but I've got no interest in being a punter. 1 Quote

Well I can tell you exactly what I'll be playing and it's not very interesting or original 😂 Fender Japan 60's Classic Precision with LaBella Deep Talkin Flats. Sansamp BDDI, Ampeg Opto Compressor, Boss or MXR Octave and TC Electronic Tuner. Boring but a solid workhorse setup 😂 5 Quote
Lozz196 Posted yesterday at 15:40 Posted yesterday at 15:40 Great setup @Linus27, nothing boring there imo. 1 Quote

attackbass Posted yesterday at 20:17 Posted yesterday at 20:17 After two years in a row playing it, I'm very relieved not to be sleeping in a freezing cold, damp tent, zero sleep, desperately trying to keep hold of your your tickets for your gear that youve put in site storage and the either cold or extremely hot showers!! Of course I'll miss the playing and the fun but the rest I do not miss at all! 1 Quote

SteveXFR Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago My oldest offspring is working in a back stage bar somewhere at Glastonbury. I haven't been for several years but the lineup looks unusually appealing this year. I'll be at Gary Numan's warmup show of Friday night. Really looking forward to that. We've got a few big warmup shows in town this year. Quote
KK Jale Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I think I went about 12 years in total spread between 1985 and 2002. Good times. This won't be news to anyone on here, but the Independent has an informative article about how Glasto is squeezing artists and workers. https://archive.ph/e8ump Quote

Well after dropping 600 quid on the skirt I'd asume you'll be going shoeless, pantless and everythign else-less! 1 Quote

I'm local to the festival an know loads of people who work there every year. Most do it just for the ticket. My daughter is working for a friend and getting really decent pay but performing for free. "Critics say bluntly, “Well, nobody’s forcing them”. But test that logic and there is simply no Glastonbury any more. “Unsustainable” is a word used a lot in private. ' Quote
