New Harley Benton MV-4PJ basses!

One of the most stupid/hilarious anti Harley Benton comments I've read recently (and they're almost all just cut and paste by people with zero real life experience) was a guy who says once he'd cut off and thrown away the awful strings it was a much better bass.

The instrument came with D'Addario strings as standard.

I've seen those. My only guess was that maybe the bass had been sat a while and they'd gone a bit dead. 

 

But Stew, more importantly, shell pink or sea foam green? Maybe you need the jazz in one and the PJ in the other 🤣

I wonder if it weights the same as the J too?

 

I'm guessing they were trying to find a better tone by putting it closer to the bridge. It should be fairly cohesive given the small move towards the bridge.
