Hi all!

A question for any Harrogate-dwellers out there..

I'm still hoping to come along, but I might bring Mrs. WoT and Bambina WoT as she fancies a look around the town.

So... are there many shops open in Harrogate of a Sunday?

Y'know.. shops that ladies like that sell flowers and posh bubble-bath.. that kind of thing?

There certainly are shops like that in the centre of town, couldn't recommend any though as they're the kind of places I avoid!
Send 'em to Betty's Tea Rooms (right in the centre of town by the cenotaph).

A visit to Godfrey & Twatt (fine ceramic ware, prints, wood and glassware) always puts a smile on my face.... ;)
Sundays are good for most shops to be open in Harrogate. Or there's free live entertainment at the Blues Bar (town centre) on a Sunday aft. http://www.bluesbar.co.uk/diary.html
Yup, if it'd been 2 weeks later you could have watched me strutting my stuff with AoS... [in the 1/2m sq of stage space I'll have].
Then again, I might'nt have been able to do the Bass Bash as well, so probably a good thing!

OK I'm coming, can I also have a sticker for 'Loz' please? He might be hunting for a cheap, decent value bass and I'm always into light cabs so will be interesting to see what people are 'moving on'.

I haven't got that much of interest to you boutique types but if anyone wants to try out my Ibanez Wimbish or a Zoot 1x12 I'll sling them in the boot. ;)
Just realised we're doing both bands tonight , inc the ZZ show , in Bradford - so when I turn up tomorrow don't be alarmed by my probable leprosy face !!

It's only the false beard glue (takes about 2 days to get off) and it's not catching!!!
smashing! i've just shaved myself a 'Geoff beard' but may trim it down to a handle bar. but at the end of the day i look the ginger fool and will prob just shave the fluff off.
Can someone give me precise directions to the venue from the train station?

Also, If anyone's coming through Leeds (neer Burley Park), then I'd love a lift (petrol money included, of course)!
Get off the train at Hornbeam Park. One stop before Harrogate. Go up to the road and you want to be walking Up hill to the right. Then walk about 500-600 meters (houses on your left and grass/field on your right) and take your 4th left (hookstone ave) then abou 250m take your first left and you will see it infront of you.
hope that helps.

Cheers for that - the google map appears to be a little confusing.
