I'm going to add a Mooer Pitch Box which is tiny for the 2 octave up stuff...

There are no samples at the mo. I'll do some when it arrives.

Any news on the Pitch Box(es) ?

'After some time spent with both, the Pitch Box a definite keeper it is. Yes a little wobbly it is on the higher sounds but for it's price it's the best 'budget' pitchshifter I've had my hands on and perfect for my smaller board it is !' - misquoted from Shep, the Yoda of fx..

still waiting for a demo vid, mind.. ;)

Yeah - basically that.

Been super busy with gigs and we are recording a new single this coming weekend, plus I'm mixing a live EP at the mo and have some voice over bits to record (tomorrow maybe) on another 2 pedal demo's so I haven't had time.

I'll hopefully get around to a demo in the next week or so. I'm very impressed for its size and cost though.

It's not too aggressive on the octave down. Much smoother than the OC2, a little more like the EBS Octabass... Though to be fair it is not as high quality sounding (a little more digital) - you get what you pay for.

The octave up stuff is more digital and warbly, though I feel that gives it a synthy sine-wave like quality which I really like.

Current setup minus the Corvid!

Want to add it but the pedal train nano is truely tiny! may have to pickup the smaller polytune and then mount the power on the underside.

Looking cool dude!!

As we are recording this weekend, rather than taking the huge board I thought I'd just put all the pedals I need to play the 1 track we are doing onto my Diago Showman....

.... They don't fit!!!! I can't get the pedals required to perform one song onto a large pedal board. Bad times! Lol

Better for me to use this to answer your twitter comment, as it'll use up about 5 or 6 posts..........
It's still very much tweaking it slightly at minute, but even with what looks like everything off it's adding a slight glassy ness to the highs and rounds the low end, giving a great ATK(attack, you never played pokeon or Final fantasy???) effect. Also cuts a bit of the low rumbling bass which is something I don't need in the band. Lots of midrange and attack. Will have to try a few things before I decide if it stays there or not.As it's best to try pedals with fresh strings on and need to check how it sounds DI'd aswell.

through the cab at the minute sounds ace.

You can always carry the tuner in your pocket if that helps?????

How are you finding the Neo Mistress, any good?
Yeah, i think so. I had a Stereo Electric before but prefer the neo and it doesn't take up too much space. replace a Danelectro FAB Flanger which for the money is awesome

Ahhh an AdrenaLinn, never seen one on a board before, just as an advertisement in a magazine ages ago. What is it like then?
Just got it but really enjoying it the sounds are great and the fact you can tap tempo the modulations is great

I think this is my new favorite board on here! What's the box on the top right?

Thanks :) X2 Wireless receiver.

Mmmmm .... I'm see-sawing back towards no-buy. I may end up with an MXR BOD after all, even if it does spoil my all-1590A board.

Unless anyone knows where I can get one of these of course ?

I'm not sure that they were ever on the market, if they were, they were discontinued pretty quick.

So a week last Monday I finally got to try out my new haul of pedals to see what would be staying and what would be going:

The M9 is definitely a keeper, it does all the reverb, modulation and delay stuff I was hoping it would and much much more - so much pedal for the price. The Nose2 expression box goes with it - disappointed that it's made out of pretty cheap plastic but it does the job for small expression adjustments. Still looking to get an expression pedal regardless, tempted by the pitch glide capabilities.

The Oxide is everything and more I had hoped it would be too , which is fortunate because I'd hankered for one for a bloody long time. It was expensive but I guess it was worth it - sounds sick with my Xero Deluxe!

The BB preamp fought a close battle with my Fulltone Bassdrive, but considering I don't really use the boost function on the Fulltone that will be hitting the classifieds when I can be bothered to list it. Both fantastic pedals, but the BB wins out for me only because it's smaller and currently I don't need the extra functionality of the Bassdrive.

When the Analogman chorus came up on here I couldn't resist it and I wasn't disappointed - will be great when I don't have space for my M9 and just want a simple chorus for modulation. Knocks the crap out of my old beloved CEB-3.

And then here enters the inevitable uncertainty of buying so many pedals - I am stuck on the Orbit and the Octamizer. I expected to LOVE the Octamizer (and indeed it does sound incredible) but for some reason I'm still drawn to the polyphonic digital tracking of my trusty OC-3 (heresy, I know!). The Octamizer is by FAR the best and most versatile octaver I've ever had the pleasure of playing through, but I guess I'm a digital boy, so to speak. Like the Fulltone, this will be on the BassChat classifieds soon when I can be bothered to list it!

The Orbit is a crazy one - it morphs from a tight gated fuzz (which the Oxide does very well too) to some mental ring moddy craziness, which just gets more crazy when you add an expression pedal to the mix. I think I'll need a little more time to figure this one out and decide if it's for me. I was taken in by the electronica style capabilities of the pedal but in truth my band don't really do anything like that any more so perhaps it's a little superfluous... Great pedal though regardless.

I'll have a picture of my final layout in a few weeks time - hopefully by then I'll have worked it all out but it's looking plenty fun for sure.

i had great fun with it, at home, especially running other fx into it, namely OC-2 and g5 synth, but decided that it was too wild to tame in a band setting too.

i also ran it into a feedback loop for some whacked out sh*t. the expression pedal is a must.
