I'm planning to get a MIM Jazz bass though, so that should solve the problem.

Been awhile since I was on here! Here's my board for the school talent show that's a week from tomorrow- You could say it's going to get pretty dirty! The compressor is on loan from my bass teacher's husband, but I love it already. The combination of compressor + B3K makes things fall off tables.

I have a couple complaints with the XP100: Firstly, it sounds really digital. Secondly, it 'lags' a little when you actually play. The note comes out a little bit after you actually play it. This might not bug some people, but for me, I just can't stand playing through something like that. Can't offer an opinion on the M5, however.

I'd like to hear your music! I have a CE-5 myself and I find it's a little bit too subtle for my taste. How does the multicomp work for you?

Darkglass is pretty famous now in the bass world for their incredible grit pedals, and I expect no difference in impact from this. I'm expecting this to sound like an overdriven Ampeg. It's actually cheaper than the B3K, thankfully! Personally, I'll stick with the B3K simply for the aggressive metal-ness of it, but this looks great for rock and blues bassists.

Oh yeah, the sounds are great for sure. I thought you were referring to a specific effect used or something. Good day!

[/quote] I don't think it would. It's fixed on the pedal on a certain point in time, I'm guessing. But it could be it models the pedal with a certain patch that does that, so possibly. Personally, I'd stick with the pedal!
