I'm not much of a chic officionado so I don't know what the bass should sound like, but I think his sound is really nice. I think it's an Atelier Z. Not as classy as 'Nard, way more busy and somehow less impressive and the sound much less defined. Enjoying it though! I hate that modern Jazz sound anyway, but in this context its even worse. Bernard is one of my favourite players and this just isn't even close in tone or feel. Very disappointing.
