Anyone wanna have a go and offer some suggestions. Apologies if this has been done before. If so would appreciate pointing in right direction. Tried a search but nothing came up. Just need to decide which ones to pick from all of the above. The Tubes was one i hadn't thought off - nice one - liked them a lot. Keep them coming. Big_Stu Posted December 2, 2012 Share Posted December 2, 2012 A significant number of the suggestions so far were not in any way shape or form "glam" songs or bands, some were barely contemporaries of them. There was 4 years of "glam" hits which means plenty of material. I read just the other day that a US "football" team walk onto the pitch to GG's "Rock n Roll Part 1" Since what's left of Slade & Sweet are currently on tour see if you can catch one of the gigs (purely for the purpose of research of course) - there's a few still to go I believe. Be Bop Deluxe Made in Heaven would have been my preferred track tho. Great band too. Lots to work on to finalise a set list and then locate musicians who are interested and capable. [/quote] It'd be a tough call who could shatter a wine class the quickest; Alan Williams or Andy Scott - and they're both as capable of hitting them notes now as they did back then.
