The only issue I have with it, is that the neck has winter/summer settings... The truss rod threads are well oiled, the tweak takes only few seconds.

While awaiting my dream build (aka saving the pennies), I did this....

Lovely to play, hear and look at.....what a treat!

Compared to most of the rest of the thread - my very modest Sire V7:

I might be alone here but I love the look of that lined maple board. 😍

Both wired stereo.  I’m building a third  one, walnut body, bubinga neck.  It will also be stereo.

Got fed up with the stupid BC design so I ‘altered’ to suit...me. The BC watchers will want to slay me...who cares🤓

This has quickly become my 2nd favourite bass to play (first is my Aria SB Black n Gold). It needs a few little setup tweaks when I get chance to spend a decent amount of time on it. But it's so comfortable to play.

Stadium 5 string fretless.  Super light body with thick wenge fingerboard.  35" scale, Bartolini pickups and 2 band EQ.  For those wondering, Stadium was the brand used for a series of instruments licensed by The Bass Centre and manufactured in Europe by Michael Tobias Design in the late 90s/early 00s.  Some of you may remember the highly regarded MTD Grendel series, which were much the same.

ESP LTD Made in Vietnam reliced jazz fretless.  I don't know whether the whole bass is an ESP or just an ESP neck on an alder body.  The relic job is very good.  The neck is lovely.  Chunky '74 jazz profile with a thick rosewood board.  I swapped pickups for some Lindy Fralins with bridge rewound to vintage spec by Bare Knuckle and it sounds lovely now.

Those are Joe Bardens.  They work very well and are powerful.  But I’m soon putting the original Schecter PU’s back in.  I’m having the tapped P PU repaired.

I was not getting on with switching between my 35" fretted Roscoe and the 34" fretless Sire V7 and so have just received this today (px with the Sire). I am absolutely in love with the looks already. Fretless MTD Kingston Z5.

My babinga fretless neck is done and temporarily installed on my MIM Fender J body. The nut(not glued in) is also temporary.  I’m putting a babinga or walnut nut on it.

The neck  is for my walnut build thread.

Very nice, that shape really works for me!

Is it, essentially, a headless with a head?

WOW!

That is absolutely stunning!
I was lucky to have a go on a 4 string LeFay a few years back, it felt and sounded wonderful.

Enjoy!
