1. Just bought Jamie's Limelight Jazz (00157), great bass, good price and would happily deal with again, cheers
2. PM'd. I'll have it please (if still going and I'm first in the queue!)
3. Mmm, the corvette sounds interesting. Just a quick question before the pics, is the body Bubinga or Ash please?
4. Not surprised it went quickly, bit of wick history there!

Gone

Sounds interesting, looking forward to the pics.
6. Man, I'm not into the custom of commenting on basses but your Streamer is something pretty special !
7. Yup, you'd be employing a few pull off and hammer on thingimabobs!
8. Just wondering if your solo was indeed 17 bars long? Seemed nice and flowing, I just got the feeling that the last phrase was one bar too long as I was expecting the solo to continue .
9. .... less in the bank maybe? I've always been impressed with the look of the build quality on these. Considering how good it is unless you've just 'got to have' a Fodera doesn't seem much point, your bass is already excellent. .... at least try one out before you do sell this lol!
10.
I cannot stand solo bass stuff. Endless self indulgent dross. Really, bass is to be played with people. The ensemble thing is what it is all about in my not so humble opinion. So why am I digging this? I'm not sure, but I am
+1, I was turned by the end lol!
11. I had an issue a few weeks ago, bought 3 sets of the same string and 1 fitted. Of the E strings: 1 needed 'encouraging' to fit and this broke after 3 mins and the last one didn't fit and I didn't want to break it! Sent the two iffy ones back and hopefully be getting some replacements!
12. I always prefer rehearsing with a drummer or percussion but as of late have been playing without one far too much, I feel sad . However am playing with one tomorrow so I feel happy lol!
13. What a nice surprise, really didn't expect that but looks very classy. You could say it's been done in a similar way to the Restomod thing!
14. Hey Ian, Hello from Huddersfield! I've bought and sold more than I can remember on here over the years, calmed down a bit recently though lol! Peace.
15. ... try to take advantage of the extended range (2 octave run with no shift now possible) and keep on with it. I probably find 4 strings easier, but love the range of a 5 so am sticking with them. I also use a sort of floating thumb technique so the B string is a great resting point for my thumb when playing on the E string etc. This also helps me get a map of where the strings are in relation to my right hand helping to play the correct string.
16. Hey folks, Just in case you didn't know. I've just got a new Radial JDI and had thought it would be nice to use post amp with the Parallel speaker option. However when looking on net about this and hearing some warnings I emailed Radial directly. They don't recommend using the JDI in this fashion when using a Class D head (I told them I've a Genz Shuttle and Streamliner) as there is a potential to create a high voltage that can be placed on the ground connection. The JDX would also be affected by this (I asked about that aswell). Radial are planning to put this info into the FAQ section of the manual. I guess I won't be using that option any time soon then !!
17. Yikes, + 1 to the above. Shukers are ace basses, if only I was in the market for one of these!! GLWTS
18. I use the 121H and also have a 151P. For portability why not try two 121H cabs. They are nice and light with their dimensions just that bit smaller than the 151P cab making them nice and portable. I tend to use the 151P with the 121H when I want some added presence, otherwise the 121H gets used on it's own.
19. Just bought Harry's Radial Tonebone Bassbone off him, quick delivery and pretty much 'as new' so all good .
20. man, your couple of pro series wicks look great, have a bump on me
