  1. This bass is now sold folks, mods please lock thanks
  2. I was so tempted as I love British basses and particularly the Perception model, however I already have 4 Warwicks so couldn't justify it, next time hey!
  3. Nice build Luke, will be nice to see it when it's finished.
  4. Rich came over the hill to pick up the fretless jazz today. Good comms, on time and a nice chap. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with again so a BC recommend from me. Cheers.
  5. TTT and a price drop. If this doesn't sell at this price (I've got lots more in this than what I'm asking unfortunately) I'll end up keeping it folks.
  6. Now sold thanks, please lock.
  7. Hey all, I've got a Fender Jazz fretless bass that I bought a while ago that isn't being used so I'm offering it for sale on here. It has a Fender MIJ Geddy Lee body, All Parts rosewood blocked and bound neck (originally fretted), Omega (Bad Ass II copy) bridge, Kluson style reverse tuners, brass nut and flat topped chrome control knobs with CTS pots. The neck already had a DIY de-fret when I bought it and I couldn't get the action low enough due to the uneven fingerboard, so I took it to Jon Shuker who levelled and coated it (in a matt finish). He also put on some D'addario chromes (some spare that he had that had only 30 mins use, so pretty much as new) so the finish wouldn't be damaged. He did use a small shim to get the action nice and low during the setup he carried out. There are a few extra holes from thumb rests that previous owners have used, the body has a few marks on it here and there and the neck has a few small dings, but nothing that can be felt when playing. The bass also comes with a couple of thumbrests and a mirror scratchplate should you want to use them. I'm now asking [s]£295[/s] £250 collected from Halifax, West Yorkshire thanks. Any questions please ask, Peace.
  8. It's already sold, but unfortunately I was too slow!
  9. Hey all, Just sold a jazz to Jeff. Goods comms all around with everything being fine in the process. Would not hesitate to deal with again. Cheers

  11. Now sold thanks. Please put this thread on ice!
  12. yeah, it's a beauty isn't it. I know however if I went for it I'd sell in on again as I've just done that with a P/J jazz . GLWTS.
  13. Now on hold folks, thanks for the comments.
  14. ... if only your were in West Yorkshire or I was in West Lancashire. Sounds like a great gig, hope you find the right person guys!!
  15. Hey folks, For sale is my Fender MIJ FSR '75 P/J Jazz, made in 2013. This is a rare bass in the UK apparently as not many found their way over to these shores. It's factory standard apart from having some Dunlop Dual Strap pins added, I only have some black strap parts as none came with it. It's pretty much as it left the factory apart from a small headstock mark pictured. The bridge does also have some marks from the saddle screws, however the shop said that was normal from the factory! I'm selling as even though I keep coming back to Fender jazzes, I need the brass and I'm more into Warwick basses really. So considering that a trade might be an option at a push. I'd only go for a German Warwick of some kind (fretted, fretless, 4 or 5 string and more likely a Streamer of some sort tbh). For the right bass I could put a very limited amount of cash towards it your way. It comes with a hard case that I got in another deal, so I'd consider posting, but you'd need to arrange the courier etc. If a trade was happening it'd need to be a face to face deal in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire please. I'm after £650 with the hard case included or £625 collected with no hard case thanks. Any questions just ask please. Peace. 16. Love my Warwicks but not a fan of their 'stable' necks lol, out of all the many many basses I've had over the years the most neck problems have all been with the Wicks I've had ha ha!
  17. ... mine had 4 strings, it's the best 5 because it had 4 strings so was less confusing for me to play . Seriously I've had lots of 5ers over the last 10 years or so and the best open rounded tone and playability is the current Warwick Steamer Stage 1 5. Apart from that the nicest signature tone was my NT Thumb 5, really thick and had something about it. I also once had an old reworked Overwater 5 that was really really nicely put together with a very neat electronics install (why aren't all bases like that??). But I'm probably going to go back to 4s for a while as I seem to know what I'm doing more on them for some reason
  18. .... just happened to me, bummer
  19. GLWTS bump Cracking bass for the money and that blue/gold colour combo looks sweet
  20. Now THAT is how to do an advert! GLWTS and I thought I included a lot of photos!!
