    RE string spacing AFAIK they are either their standard spacing (ie yours) or broadneck. There is some adjustability in the spacing by a mm or so either way.

    The neck is wenge, you can tell by the look of the grain. I've had a bunch of wicks in the past and currently own two ovangkol necked ones. If it weren't for the tighter spacing on this I would have snapped this up, I really dig the finish!

    Man, that is a great price for a very nice wick. I'm sorely tempted but not sure I'd get on with the spacing

    Just wondering if your solo was indeed 17 bars long? Seemed nice and flowing, I just got the feeling that the last phrase was one bar too long as I was expecting the solo to continue .

    .... less in the bank maybe? I've always been impressed with the look of the build quality on these. Considering how good it is unless you've just 'got to have' a Fodera doesn't seem much point, your bass is already excellent. .... at least try one out before you do sell this lol!

    I had an issue a few weeks ago, bought 3 sets of the same string and 1 fitted. Of the E strings: 1 needed 'encouraging' to fit and this broke after 3 mins and the last one didn't fit and I didn't want to break it! Sent the two iffy ones back and hopefully be getting some replacements!

    I always prefer rehearsing with a drummer or percussion but as of late have been playing without one far too much, I feel sad . However am playing with one tomorrow so I feel happy lol!
