1. I've signed up. I work it out about £5 per month, not bad at all if I actually use it lol!
2. I was always a die hard jazz bass fan and wasn't really up for P basses at all. I now have one and no jazzes, times change I guess!
3. I think I had a hand in this one! If it is the same then here is a pic of it Peace
4. I find a little memory tool useful, the number 7 is key! If you've got the Key of E Major (has 4 #s), the flat version. EbMajor would have 3 b (4 + 3 = 7). Another example could be D Major, this key has 2 #, so DbMajor would have 5b (2 + 5 = 7 etc etc). I guess you'd at least have to know some of this before anyhow for it to be of any use!
5.
... because it's earlier than practicing.
++1!!
6. Or search for Vulfpeck Beastly on YT and the dude playing the bass has a PJ P bass with what looks like the stacked pot control pots for early jazzes. He has them on the P bass pick guard so he can have a volume/tone set up for each pickup whilst retaining the jack location, nifty idea!
7. Great bass and your collection (on picture link) is fantastic, I'm flabergasted type bump!

17. Just bought Steve's P bass off him after driving around in circles for a while ! All good and would definitely deal with again, cheers.
18. All interesting stuff, I'm still a bit bewildered though!
19. Anyone thought of a Djembe? The amount of different tones you can get out of one of those played well is really ace!!
20. Please delete
21. Well I've got two cabs of theirs, a 2011 made TRV 121H and a 2012 TRV 151P (both bought off here used). The 121 is made from ply whereas the 151 is made from Italian MDF. I asked Markbass about the change in materials for the cab and it was put down to constant improvements of some sort on their part. Now I mentioned this to a friend and he commented that the MDF would be more consistent in it's make up and perhaps produce a better tonal result. Either way I'd prefer ply for both cabs, however they both sound ace. It does look like if I want/need some more in the future I'll go for some more used ones though.
