1. ...thanks for your interest alyctes but it's been sold, sorry. Please freeze the post thanks.
2. Now SOLD please freeze post thanks. Hi folks, Clearing out bits and this is left over, it came on a bitsa P bass that I had. The guy I got it from said a shop (called Machine Head) in Essex built it up for him in the mid 1980's. The body only had it's screw pattern on so it must have come from this time. It is big, heavy (just under 1lb!!), I think made from brass and has marks from use on it. However it might just give your plywood bodied bass that extra bit of needed sustain . I'm also not sure how low the action would go on this without shimming your bass somewhat. 3. Just sold Mark my bitsa fretless P bass, nice chap, had a good natter and would have no hesitation to deal with again, Cheers
4. Now sold, please freeze. Hi folks, I have for sale a bridge off a CIJ Fender '62 RI fretless jazz bass. Compared to a '62 RI one that I bought off the internet (normal Fender parts one) I feel the quality of this one is better, especially the adjustment screws. The spiral saddles show wear marks on the E and A strings, just down to normal use and I don't have any mounting screws, sorry. I'd like £15 posted for this please, a little less for collection from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Any questions just PM me please, Cheers.
5. Hi folks, I have here for sale a '62 style Fender stacked pot control plate, I've said it's nearly loaded as the CTS pots didn't come with any nuts and washers to secure them to the genuine RI Fender control plate, you'd have to get those ! I made this up using decent cloth covered wire, orange capacitors and a switchcraft jack socket. It hasn't been installed on a bass, just been lying about for a while!! The knobs are from All Parts and I did notice that the knurling isn't quite as deep as on an original Fender set, moot point tbh!! They also don't come with the indexing springs underneath the tone pots, I've never found this an issue in use. The pots have a very similar feel to them, however the bridge control for the volume shows a small amount more resistance. It also comes with the control plate screws. Any questions just PM me please, Cheers.
6. Now SOLD please freeze post thanks. Hi folks, I've for sale here a loaded Fender '62 RI stacked pot control plate, I bought it off here a while back and it is now surplus to requirements. There are no indexing spring washer underneath the tone controls, however I've never found that to be an issue. The feel of the volume pots is fairly similar, the neck pickup control is a little bit stiffer, but only by a smidgen. This pot also has a very little bit of rotational play on the pot body, I only noticed this when I took it off. It is not affected in use and is nowt to worry about. The chrome control plate has a couple of faint scratch marks near the each control knobs due to normal use. It also comes with the control plate screws. I'd like £32.50 posted please, a little bit less of collection from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Any questions just PM me please, Cheers.
7. Hi folks, I've a set of Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups for sale (http://www.dimarzio....ultra-jazz-pair). I bought these off the forum a while back and have never fitted them myself. They have been used by a previous owner and have a few signs of use on the covers. The wires also have signs of use on them but have plenty of length still left. They come in a box (a Model J box, but who cares!) and a set of used chrome pick up screws. Any questions just PM me please. Cheers.
8. Now SOLD please freeze post thanks. Hi folks, I've for sale a set of Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups (http://www.dimarzio....ultra-jazz-pair) that I bought off this forum. They are in very good condition, they were fitted by a previous owner but it is hard to tell. They come with black pickup screws, instructions and are boxed. The wires have plenty of length and are in good condition. I'd like £60 posted, or a little bit less for collection from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Any questions just PM me please, Cheers
9. Hi folks, I've two Hipshot BT 3 Drop D tuners for sale (http://store.hipshot...uct_detail&p=60). Both are fully functional and come boxed with the ferrule and screws. When I got them (at the same time, new of the internet) I noticed I had to reduce the thickness of the plastic spacer in the assembly to get the whole thing to stop binding. This only happened when the main screw holding the gear wheel onto the string post was tightened up. I did however compare the dimensions with another Drop D tuner I have and one dimension was about 0.4 mm out (err, for those of you who are interested it was the depth of the shoulder on the string post, a smidgen too shallow), hence the binding when tightened. The plastic washer was thus reduced by 0.6mm to free it all up nicely!! There is still enough clearance between the upper and lower plates for them to work as normal. However, I have priced them accordingly and I'd like £25 + post for each of them, or you're welcome to collect from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Any questions just PM me please, Cheers.
10. Now sold, please freeze post thanks. Hi folks, I've for sale a Hipshot BT 2 (see here, http://store.hipshot...uct_detail&p=57), bought from this very forum a while back. In good condition complete with box, ferrule and screws. I'd like £30 + post, or you're welcome to pick up from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Any question just PM me please, Cheers.
11. Hi folks, I've moved back to 5ers for now so all 4 string related bits and bobs are now surplus. I have for sale a set of Hipshot HB2 tuners (see here, http://store.hipshot...uct_detail&p=96,), they came from the BC roundabout and are in good condition. They are not new as I believe a previous owner had them on a bass, however they have stayed in their box for the duration I have owned them. The ferrules and screws are all included. The tension is adjustable and they save a fair bit of weight over standard Fender tuners. Any questions just PM me please. Cheers.
