1. My tuppence worth ; from the photos I think it's a 2 band eq. Tell me if I'm wrong but the firs pots is volume (push pull active passive?), second pot balance and the last stacked pot bass/treble. The body is bubinga, but not the pommele version (it's more swirly) with bubinga stringers in the wenge neck, also with a wenge fret board. The truss rod is a removable one (no neck volute) and I'm guessing here but it's probably running at 9 V. Feel free to correct but it's similar to my 1999 NT 5.
2. Wouldn't look too out of place if you were playing a gig......
3.
I was so in love with Streamers, this makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Imagine how brilliant this would look with black hardware. Have a bump. P
+ 1
4. Hi folks, Well I bartered with Marcus for a fair few PM pages for his Nate Mendel P bass and we finally settled on a deal. He knew me better than I know myself lol and posted it in, quite rightly, a hardcase instead of a gig bag I'd asked for (I don't think it would have been insured in a gig bag anyhow so a good move to be honest). The bass, after a bit of tweaking is ace, I'm really made up by it so thank you Marcus for the sale. It was also packed up and posted very quickly with lots of foam bits used in the parcel , Cheers.

6.
Really good price for a Geddy Lee indeed....I'm just passing it on with no intend to make a profit, I bought it on here cheap too.
Top dog, I like it done in true BC stylee
7. Is he taking the mick himself? The more I read it in disbelief it looks that way to me
8. Yikes, I was only just over a grand short in my bidding effort !!
9. I've just received a set up pickups from Tony. They were exactly as described, well packaged and the price was good. Recommended BC'er and would definitely deal with again, Cheers .
10. Reminds me of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure for some bizarre reason!!
11.
I tend to agree, although it sounds like it needs a setup and fret work. One thing I don't understand though......The seller say's that there is no neck stamp? yet he hasn't checked the pots or pick ups because he don't want to take it apart it sounds great the way it is. So how does he know the neck has no stamp? just curious. It's not as in good nick as my 1974!
+1
12. Yup, I did bid on it and have been outbided thankfully. Although it's nice I just don't need it, nice to be the highest bidder for a bit though
13. Any thoughts! http://www.ebay.co.u...utorefresh=true
14. I used to have a 4 string version with one pickup, it had a Just a nut 1 and did sound pretty nice. The body wood is pretty soft though so does dent fairly easily. I bought it new for about 420 squids, doesn't compare amazingly to curved wick's really but for the brass it's not too bad.
15. See if any of these vids (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbbn83WWU4olwpaNqzB0beykwlL4LCcrn) will help
16. Looks interesting, can't read any of it but just thought I'd let it be known http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Basse-Warwick-thumb-bo-6c-fretless-/271157332508?pt=FR_YO_InstrumentsMusique_Guitares&hash=item3f223c8a1c
