1. Just sold Stephen my fretless jazz. Good clear comms, easy meet for me (with good description of his bro's car lol!) and no problems whatsoever, recommended BCer, Cheers.
2. Please freeze as this is now SOLD thanks.
3. Well if you look at this photo the nut top tapers off towards the top of the headstock, and the 'set right' option seems to do the same when the E string groove is orientated the correct way around so I would suggest the 'set right' option sounds correct.
4.
If only you were willing to post... Amazing price for such an instrument! Please change your mind!
I'm taking this as a question and not a bump opportunity, if I'm wrong please act accordingly! Hey there Byo, It's priced so any peeps would be willing to come and collect it. I'd hate for anyone interested to get it via post and it get damaged or them be disappointed with something else, hence a try before you buy deal. Cheers for the comment anyhow .
5. Well, the market is slow and I don't like basses hanging about really hence the 'try and move it along' pricing, thanks for the comment anyhow .
6. TTT for sale again as a potential buyer lost interest and another fretless is coming my way soon
7. NOW SOLD Now £595 for a limited time only! I'll now consider trading for a lightweight extension cabinet (+/- cash) to suit my Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 12 T, however trade value would be at the original price of £695 Hi folks, I've got my Overwater Evolution 5 string Deluxe Fretted bass for sale (RRP on the current model, from £2495 http://overwaterbass...ce_list_gbp.pdf). The tread that I bought it via is this one, http://basschat.co.u...ter%20evolution I got this superbly made instrument a month or so ago but I'm trying my best to get down to 2 basses and this isn't one of them unfortunately. However saying that if it doesn't go I'm sure I'll manage! The scale is 35", string spacing is about 18mm at the bridge and it weighs 9.8 lbs. The sound is fairly bright when set to flat, but can be made nice and rotund using the 3 band EQ. I've also currently strung it with a set of flats. I did notice the neck has been shimmed to achieve a medium/low action, however it looks to me like it was done from the factory when it was set up there. The neck is nice and straight with a gentle fall off on the last few frets, a really nice touch that helps with getting a lower action. The jack is a locking neutrik one, tuners are nice and smooth and it's in generally good condition, however it does have a few marks here and there. The finish is Transpurple, this is a really dark see-through purple finish that in normal light looks nearly black, however with lights on it etc the colour comes through more. A link to the most recent Evolution model can be found here, http://overwaterbass...sses/evolution/, the specs are similar but not identical as it is not the current model year. The build quality of Overwater basses is really impressive. I've had a fair few basses in my time from some nice companies and I think this is pretty much the top one in terms of build quality and attention to detail, impressive stuff indeed .
