1. Used to be mine I think, I traded it for the value of £400 so the price posted is bob on. The wenge necked wicks are nice aren't they!!
2. Cheers Stef030, it is very well made and British to boot, and yup Ped, we've a Staffie (cross) and he's ace, well spotted . Although his eyes do look a bit odd in the avatar, they're not really that colour!! (ps. if this counts as a bump please delete this post, don't want to break rules )
3. Bump as back up for sale in time for Christmas
4. I've played classical guitar in the past, really nice instrument and as I only read solo pieces got a lot of fulfillment from playing. Whereas bass playing requires a band to fully appreciate it, if you don't have one practicing can be a bit dull!!
5. On my setup the albums I have on vinyl and cd tend to sound better on vinyl, however I don't tend to listen too much vinyl as cds are easier, err and cds are ten a penny compared to some vinyl! . However saying all that if I really dig an album on cd I'll try and find it on vinyl, but I've gotta really dig it lol!!
6. Just sold a fretless P to Anth, all good and a nice chap to boot. Recommended BC'er and you can deal with confidence
7. Nice, one of the better ones IMO, wenge stringers with the volute on the neck. Bump!
8. [sup]Nice stuff [/sup]

10. Check out the head stocks on the Vintage branded basses, looks similar to me. Also can't quite tell but aren't the tuners Wilkinsons, again used by Vintage basses (not that there is owt wrong with them, just not Tokai!)
11. Cheers for that Wooks, interesting stuff indeed! One thing I did notice is the MM in the linked post had vintage tuners, whereas the one I've posted from ebay has 70's style. I have noticed that Marcus Miller has been playing a custom shop version of his original bass recently and that has 70's tuners on it aswell. I guess they are having a transition period
12. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4abd116356 I knew the Geddy had moved production but for some unknown reason thought the Marcus was still made in Japan, guess I'm wrong
13. Nice jazz there and I know what you mean by not really holding their value, as the spec is very nice. Anyhow bump on me!
14. Yeah, I know what you're on about there. If it doesn't go collected I'll have to buy him a few pints to persuade him to package it for me!! ON HOLD
15. Hi there, The black P looks great but I'm really after a sale or I'll probably keep it, so thanks for the offer but no thanks I'm afraid . Ps. last price drop before I leave it on here to rot
