1. I saw this when I went to pick up a fretless P bass, didn't play it but looked very nice indeed , bump on me.
2. Well for me I started on 4 strings, went to 5s for a few years and for some odd reason went back to 4! Overall I find it easier to learn on a 4, I guess too many options confuse my little brain. Oh and I think dropped D sounds better than fretting one on the B string
3. Dresden by Dresden, nice one Wooks79
4. Yup, I like that a lot type bump!! What would you ask for a sale price?
5. I think it might help if you change your ad to no postage and pickup only as there would be less confusion in what you want, or at least put UK postage only
6. Least they're out there doing it
7. I've just bought an Ear training CD series off Ian, no problems with deal and described perfectly, recommended BC'er
8. Just sold some tuners to Gerry, easy deal all the way, recommended Bass Chatter
9. If no-one else bites I will, however with the loss on paypal and postage it's not really worth me selling them!!
10. Hi folks, Got these on a bass today and they are surplus. I only have the machine heads and bushings for sale, unfortunately there are NO screws. I'd take £11 posted for these, PM me if you have any questions, Peace.
11. Hi folks, Got another bass today and the Gotoh 201 is off it. It's in good condition and also comes with a spare Gotoh 203 base plate (I used the adjusters etc off the 203 on another bass I sold so I thought I'd chuck it in as I'm not going to use it any time soon ), 7 screws and a small allen key. Just to note the barrels that are on the 201 are of a larger diameter than on the 203 and you'd have to take your chances with using them on the 203 base plate if you so wished. It looks like they'll swap over but the barrel height could only go down to a point limiting how low you could get your action. I'd like £27.50 + postage for all of the above, just PM me if you have any questions. Peace.
12. Just purchased a fretless P off Will, nice guy to deal with and generous with the deal. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with again, Recommended BC'er

SOLD

Yup, great price there, have a bargin bump on me
14. Well I've been through a few basses (5 Warwicks, a couple of Yamaha trbs, a couple of Sandbergs, two wooden Status basses etc) and have ended up with a Fender Jazz CIJ 62' fretless and a bitsa fretted jazz. I've had the most compliments about the sound from playing these two basses, odd really
15. Yup, it is the same one then, have an extra bump on me
16. Nope, it was the same spec as yours, a '98 with wenge neck, natural finish, drop d tuner and only one preamp, funny that!
17. I've had one of these (part x'ed to a dude in Sheffield a while back actually) and they are cracking basses, bump on me
