1.
Then that night the Hungry Caterpillar had a stomach ache!
A quote only a parent would understand
2. Aiming to be. IMO the line up already blows download into a cocked hat
3. I have an occasional gig with a jazz trio. I use my eub and my dearmond jetstar. Both basses are plugged in to a boss ab2. Smooth and silent switching, and quick too
4. I use either a bass fuzz deluxe or deluxe bass muff for hysteria, a mooer fog (!) for time is running out and a bsw for plug in baby. I haven't gigged any others so far!
5. There are so many differing sounds, it would be really helpful if you could be a little more specific song wise
6. I own both a b3k and vmt. I've had no issues with either either side of fuzz pedals. I primarily play passive p basses and derivatives as I don't get excited by either jazz bass sounds or ergonomics
7. It's a very fine line to walk. I've lost count of the the songs I've heard ( and played!) All right now Can't get enough Rock and roll (zep) Smile on the water Paranoid Mustang sally Long train running Play that funky music Etc.... In pubs and clubs. It might be cheesy to a musician, but to a punter it seems that are pure gold (sometimes- when played well) At the end of the day it is the punter that puts the money in the till of the venue, paying your fee, and most of the time it has nothing to do with artistic integrity an expression. My main band tends to take a sideways look at these things and we look for the next biggest song for a band eg zep- immigrant song or heartbreaker instead of rock and roll or sabbath- war pigs or nib or a forgotten classic like dirty women ( everyone likes dirty women ) instead of Polaroid. The best comment we have ever heard in a venue was that we have the balls to play the songs that others don't / can't. I was very chuffed with myself that night
8. Apparently www.effectpowersupplies.com are expecting stock in the next 3 days or so
9. I have to say it, Big muff?
10. Rack gear? Compressor by the looks of it

12. Gay bar? love is only a feeling- the darkness ? I will survive?
13. I use the Marshall mbc410 with mine. I've been using these cabs for 6 or 7 years with absolutely no issue whatsoever It sounds sweet with my gear Volume is never an issue
14. Hope to give one a whirl on Monday.
15. Its a fuzz pedal You could probably get close with a bass big muff deluxe or an mxr bass fuzz deluxe
16. Would you split? Might be up for the cables
17. Well said paul5 The other thing is to write a song that people want to buy
18. Without a doubt the blackstar id series head is the best non valve head I have heard. The other competitors never quite sound right 'at volume'. They always seem to sound wrong. The blackstar, however is the only one ime that doesn't. A great amp
19. Bit far for me I'm afraid mate, but good luck with the sale
20. I am extremely happy with mine. I would, however, never buy one I hadn't played first
21. Very nice. Whereabouts are you based dude?
22. I got mine from a dealer who deals with bill lewington. They do crop up on eBay from time to time too
23. Dean do make a gig bag and hard case for it, but they come up at £60 and £120 respectively last time I looked !!
