  1. Bigbeatnut- try calling effectspowersupplies / stompbox http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/contact-us-1-w.asp Last time I was there they had one in the window
  2. For chorus, the main contenders seem to be the boss ceb3, mxr analog chorus, analog man, and ehx neo clone Flange wise, I've not found anything that sounds as good to me as the dod fx72 bass flanger. For delay, I'd really suggest the mxr carbon copy for a great analog delay, or Marshall echo head for delays on a budget
  3. I use an lh500 as my number 2 rig, and I can get some lovely grit with it using my USA p or 90's kramer Definitely worth a try
  4. As already said above- that is also my understanding. Again, drop Dunlop an email. They are generally extremely helpful
  5. I just use the full version all the time. Saves all kinds of problems for me!
  6. In our church we had a similar issue with volume and guitars. We moved away from amps totally and bought a h&k red box classic di box and iems Consistently great guitar sound and absolutely no volume Problems at all
  7. Aren't they the solo bass ones? I had a set on a bass I bought a couple of years ago They did sound and feel different to the swing bass set
  8. Thanks Jim for all the LOUD Rock music would not be the same without Marshall! I've had the pleasure of meeting him a few times over the years- a top gent and talented drummer too
  9. In one of my cover bands we used to do slither (drop d), followed by run to the hills. More than once I forgot to retune my e string and had to play run to the hills two steps higher on the bottom string. It isn't easy rethinking the part in situ considering the tough nature of the bvs!
  10. Not silly- absolutely correct. You have to book by post- the form and details are in the book
  11. Just to clarify my earlier post. The bass was £60 Pickup £35 Pick guard recycled Logo £15 Total £110
  12. My fecker pretender is really an old Westfield p bass. All I have done is change the logo, replaced the white pg for black and pop an sd spb3 in it. All in all a total of £110 I've recorded with it ( the engineer said he'd never heard so much bass frequency from a bass before!), and I regularly gig it hearing people who are convinced it's a 70s fender
  13. I wouldn't recommend the phat phuk b unless you have an all valve amp. It's a dirty boost rather than a specific 'overdrive' pedal per se
  14. Very nice I have one of his m16 basses, it's really nice to play and sounds good. At one point he was selling evh copies, before fender stepped in
  15. Can I grab the 6 way supply pls? Could you pm me some details?
  16. Try sending dudewheresmybass89 a pm. He has a sledgehammer for sale ATM Phil is quite a friendly chap really
  17. Hey Wayne, Any chance of pic of the back pls?
  18. As its parametric, I couldn't define frequency without an oscilloscope! It's definitely just up from the very low mids
  19. I'm really enjoying the bmc. It works wonders with my p basses both active and Passive. As yet, I've not tried it with an active with a mid control, but I do find it can really add emphasis to the envelope filter.
