1. Thanks for the clarification there. There is no symbol aside from the one mentioned above visible on the machine unfortunately. I did have an adaptor for it, but it got totally destroyed after a show last week, when it got dropped on the floor and run over! Thanks again for all of your help
2. Hi. I'm trying to decipher a symbol printed on a bubble machine so I can buy a psu to run it The symbol in question has two horizontal lines the uppermost being just a straight line and the lower of the two being broken ( ie a series of hyphens) Am I right in thinking this refers to the polarity of the supply? Cheers for any help you can offer!
3. Some cool sounds there. It will be interesting to see what the price point will be considering the change of distribution too!
4. how about the markbass basskeeper? http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/markbass-bass-keeper-1742-p.asp
5. As well as the jlo, the hardwire cm2 tube overdrive is worth a look. I use mine for general valve esque sparkle/ gentle fur. Great on board eq and the stomp lock thing stops accidental mid set adjustments!
6. Personally I'd flip the odb and the syb first and run it :- Tuner - octave- synth- drive- wah- chorus / flanger At the end of the day try whichever way you fancy and gets you to the sounds you're after
7. This is true. The md2 is much more bass friendly, and found it to sit well in a mix.
8. I have a cc and have been using it for over a year now. The darker character really suits my rig I have also tried the aquapuss, and I absolutely loved it- not enough to r Solace the cc though. I have also got a memory toy. A great delay for the money, but the cc was in a different class to my ears
9.
Too many to choose from. Maiden, thin lizzy ,stranglers ".....
\thread
10. I'm pretty happy with my rigs ATM, but if I was to happen across an old aria sb series at a good price.... I'm also looking to get the new boss fb2 and am looking forward to seeing what is being released at namm soon including the new mxr bass fuzz deluxe I am the happiest with all of my gear that I ever have been, and can't really think of anything else that I would want!
11. I always used to use the syb5 with exp pedal and an octave to get the effect on that song
12. Have you considered the ibanez btb series. I don't have dims, but the neck is pretty wide at the nut
13. pretty much as in the title really - Is there a pickup with a similar output / tone, or will i have to get another spb3? All replies and suggestions greatly appreciated cheers
14. lovely bass dude!but reading the title thought it might be something like this-
15. i know its pricey but the darkglass b7k would fit the bill http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/darkglass-b7k-microtubes-bass-preampdi-pedal---free-delivery-1728-p.asp
16. How black was my sabbath The hammer of the gods Or the dirt by motley Crüe are all pretty good reads Sorry, but I dont recall who wrote the other two! They are both pretty easy to find
17. Another vote here for the DBS. I've not used either of the others, but since I've had my 7200, I've had no issues, considering that I play with a drummer louder than an earthquake and two full stacked guitarists. My sound is always clear and punchy
18. Would have been rudy Sarzo iirc Colin hodgkinson always played a P with whitesnake
19. I picked up a secondhand Seymour spb3 on here for £35. Sounds great in my rebuild Westfield. I'm continually getting compliments on it's sound
20. Thanks mate. Will see if I can raise the necessary
