1. This just in!
2. There's only one way to decide - FIGHT!
3. My policy is within 24 hours full fee is payable, and at my discretion. Beyond that I don't believe it's fair or right to charge. By way of background- I'm teaching full time, both privately and in school, and have been for over ten years now and in that time, I've not been left in the crap by anyone. I believe that I should treat others as I would expect to be treated.
4. Tough one. I'd have to squarely sit on the fence there
5. It misses the switching options, and pots to tweak iirc
6. I was told it had been discontinued and replaced with the wd7 jr, which doesn't have any of the good bits If it's not discontinued I'm very happy!
7. Jeremy renner is quite the singist too- http://youtu.be/aoqpXHvo0vw
8. That ibanez wd7 is awesome. Been using mine for many years! It can scream and cover most bases. It can be switchable or switched, and it's the single most adjustable wah I have used. They are discontinued now though
9. I still love my maiden shirts- I have them going back to the powerslave tour. The older ones don't get worn now, but the newer ones definitely do
10. Sounds like it might be a relatively cheap fix
11. Sent you a message ben
12. Doesn't Gary oldman play bass too, and rumour has it he gave a bass to Daniel Radcliffe. Not too sure about bands, but definitely players.
13. Sounds good in person too
14. For a good overdrive, I'd recommend the darkglass vmt for lowish gain/ rusty sounds, and ehx glove for more lemmy esque drive The mxr bef for filter- so adjustable and tweakable. Love my evh 90 for phase. Has both modern and vintage sounds in the same box Octave wise I like both the mxr bod, and the ebs octabass. The ebs for smoother poppy octaves, and the mxr for more rocky environments.
15. Looks like a hybrid of the deluxe and standard models. The knobs are correct for the deluxe, but as already mentioned, the deluxe had the larger humbucker at the bridge The jack socket doesn't look consistent though either. The Dlx I used had the rugby ball shaped plate iirc.
16. When I need that pickish push, I use either tortex 1.14 or the john petrucci jazz 3.
17. I've used sweatbands in the past. Elastic and flexible- win!
18. Perhaps he's referring to the pricing of the older bass whammy reducing now the newer one is released?
19. Cool. Welcome to the demon club IMO one of the absolute best wahs for bass, and superb value for money too!
20. What kind of rig are you running? Are you running straight to di?
21. I've been dealing with them for over 4 years, both in person and via the net. Great people to deal with, and they are always keen to do everything they possibly can in order to rectify an issue, on the rare occasion they occur. For example, about a year after I bought my mif b3k, it developed a grounding problem. They got in touch with Douglas, and a couple of emails later, the pedal was on its way back to Finland for repair, and back with me within a week. Richard is himself a bass player, and has a wealth of bass related fx knowledge. He is always happy to give advice too
22. Only found about it the day before via franks fb page. Most disappointed as it was my birthday too!
23. In the interest of fairness, we have now received a full apology from the management. It seems that the staff member that contacted us was not doing so following the instructions of the manager. We consider the matter closed, and won't be playing there again
