1. Yes Please
2. Great chap to deal with and a lovely little fuzz to boot. Buy with confidence
3. Not new to 2015 but new to me was the mountainking megalith. Fuzz and a boost in one box. It's become the only one on my board, really pleased with the buy.
4. Buy a burman. All valve is brilliant (imo).
5. Aaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
6. Bargain at thus price!! Magnificent cabs!!!
7. Simon, you need to embellish on this!!
Still I think it will pale into insignificance compared to some of Alex's upcoming creations.....
...I'd love the 810 if it fit in the boot of my skoda!...stick with the 610 for now, which is plenty!!
8. Really interested on feedback on this chaps!
9. Yeah useful thanks. I finally get the speaker sim benefits! I don't want to over complicate my set up, but I'm also using a sub - will a sim kill the sub?
10. Thanks guys. Not running our own pa - always use house and get varied engineers. Also don't always get to use my own cab which is frustrating but interested in playing a micd cab as I've never done it. I'll probably give the pdi a whirl and see how that fairs - thanks for all the info. Why are fussed bad with too much top? Does it bring out the fuzz element too much or something?
11. Thanks for the input. I've looked at the pdi09 before. How does a speaker SIM differ to a di then? Thanks
12. Yeah I tend to di post eq on my Amp. Mic would be ideal I guess if I have the full rig, but typical gigs I do involve a di to keep changes quick etc. Haven't considered a pedal to support it as I wouldn't expect much difference between that and my di from Amp. Another factor is possibly that I use an active Bass but again I set it up in rehearsal so it sounds big.
13. Hi all, I've played with fuzzes a lot but lately I've found through the pa on my rehearsal settings they all sound like a tin of bees and lose all their umph. I end up totally re-engineering my settings. Can anyone tell me why this is? We rehearse louder than stage volumes. I guess it's tweeter related? Welcome science and experiences if you care to contribute.... Thanks
14. Sold a pedal to Mikkel. Straight forward transaction and prompt payment. Cheers dude!

16. Really nice (and gnarly) gated fuzz. Info and demo links here: http://mountainkinge...t/magnetar.html Bought on here a few months back and it doesn't quite fit the band as well as some other pedals I have so moving it on. Happy to post, based in rushden. Comes with box and feet. I'll get a pic up soon, drop me a line with queries, Cheers
17. Pics not working???
18. Dan's reviews are always spot on - the mag is a great read as well. Yeah marketing departments are way too slow to catch on to this approach and catering for the many online buyers
19. I have to agree. And if you have an itch on your knee there's no point scratching your elbow
20. Check ampstack on Facebook - that's foxens sales page and they normally all double list. I'd recommend burman as well - lovely amps weren't right for my band though.
21. Love my Nexus - Use it with a Barefaced Big Twin 2 or retro 610....or both. Full featured, modern tub amp. Fet channel and valve channel on the pre provides a huge amount of flexibility and some other nice touches on the front panel which are all really easily adjusted - switched on or off if you want them or not. 8, 4 or 2 ohms and 400w its a beast. Only challenge is getting valve grind out of it due to the power. A bit heavy but big transformers and nice glowing bottles. Good review here from dood, I dont have any experience with the cabs: http://www.iguitarmag.com/magazine-editions/guitar-interactive-issue-11/reviews/laney-nexus-tube-head-and-nx810-cabinet/
22. Bought a nice fuzz from zac. Top man well packed and fast with great comms. Real dude. Deal with confidence.
23. Hi All, Been wondering about the benefits of the Rivera Rock Crusher and whether anyone has had any studio experience with it? Reason I'm interested is to get power drive out of my 400w laney in a studio is hardwork and I havent had the best of success with it previously - this seemed like a good solution with future flexibility with cab sim.....? still building my knowledge on this really but heres a link: http://www.rivera.com/product/attenuators-cab-sims/rockcrusher-recording/ http://www.rivera.com/product/attenuators-cab-sims/rockcrusher/
