1. Cheers dood, your review swung the decision for me and I haven't looked back since. Thanks
2. Price drop to £550.00 ***sale pending*** Hi all, Sadly I have to part company with this head due to poor health. Best head I've played and I love it, but can't keep it any longer. I had the power section re-valved about 18 months ago with full service. It's never missed a beat and I've rehearsed every other week and gigged a couple of times a month since owning it for about 3 years. Condition is a little Road worn but minor cosmetic. Whilst it is heavy on paper, it doesn't feel it's weight as the handle position and choice make it a lot more manageable than expected. Each functional element of the amp (i.e. pre-amp, graphic, para eq, compressor) can be engaged or defeated depending on how you want to run it so as simple or complex as you like. It's really easy and makes the amp very straight forward and intuitive. Currently paired with my barefaced retro 610 and sometimes an additional 210 it's a phenomenal sensation, all valve power. Nothing like it. I live and work in the Rushden/Bedford area. I rehearse in Shefford, and have got upcoming gigs in Stevenage, Welwyn, London, Kent and Wales upcoming. Happy to travel a sensible distance so worth asking. Any questions give me a shout. I have reliable feedback in the feedback thread. Many thanks Amp Review: https://www.guitarin...-nx810-cabinet/ Video: https://www.youtube....h?v=Qa_0FzJAshE Laney Product Info (including manual link): http://www.laney.co....cts/nexus-tube/ LANEY BLURB & SPECS: The ultimate in big bass tone, the NEXUS range represents Laney's dedication to cutting-edge, great-sounding bass backline BRITISH MADE TUBE POWER The NEXUS-TUBE delivers a thundering 400 watts RMS of tube-powered bass. 3. Changed my set up and not using this anymore unfortunately. Clone of the original meatbox but upgraded components. Massive sub harmonic generator. Really thumps you in the gut on bass, smashes you over the head on guitar. Wet and dry out. Velcro on back. Based in Rushden Northants, post for a fiver or meet for collection. Looking for £85 happy to consider offers

6. Interested in how the density hulk compares to the meatbox man

8. I sold an amp to Gillento - outstanding chap to deal with I'd more than happily buy/sell from him. Top marks, many thanks
9. I think there's a cn212 in the fs at the moment....
10. I think that'd be counter intuitive unless you were playing up the register as the filter would negate the purpose of the meatbox. You'd still get the 30hz boost but you could achieve that with an eq pedal.
11. Great chap to deal with and a lovely little fuzz to boot. Buy with confidence
12. Not new to 2015 but new to me was the mountainking megalith. Fuzz and a boost in one box. It's become the only one on my board, really pleased with the buy.
13. Buy a burman. All valve is brilliant (imo).
14. Simon, you need to embellish on this!!
Still I think it will pale into insignificance compared to some of Alex's upcoming creations.....
...I'd love the 810 if it fit in the boot of my skoda!...stick with the 610 for now, which is plenty!!
15. Really interested on feedback on this chaps!
16. Yeah useful thanks. I finally get the speaker sim benefits! I don't want to over complicate my set up, but I'm also using a sub - will a sim kill the sub?
