1. Looks great
2. These were & are great basses I wish I'd bought one back in the 80's, the CS 62 pickup is a great pickup IMO & the reason why I bought the American Standard Precision.
3. Very nice indeed
4.
I'm sure there are a few about, I have a 1970 like so as well..¨in the hands here of a certain fella.
I like the look of that Precision
5. All I added was a set of Fender flatwounds & straplocks, really into the whole Precision thing now
6. It took me over 20 years to get & understand, just how good the Fender Precision is with just 1 pickup, volume and tone. Since I got one in January it's all I need.
7. Had a 5 string SB315 IIRC it was a nice bass, should have kept it
8. Wish I'd been able to keep mine, great basses.
9.
I don't see anything wrong with having loads of basses. It's just become unnecessary for me. And I'm impressed by all the extra space I have!
Same here at one point I had more basses than space to keep them, especially since I was not playing live, and with a family that needed the space a bit more. So now I'm down to 3 my 1964 Hofner Violin bass & my 1989 Squire precision, both of which now have been stored away (just sentimental value now). And my 1 bass that I play now is a 2014 US Precision and I feel better for it.
10. That is a very nice looking bass you have there.
11. Easy Line 6 bass.
12.
Behold...
Damm that looks good
13. +1 for how good the Custom Sop pickup sounds
14. What a good find nice one enjoy it
15. I had the "Jack" bass in the 90's as well, wish I'd kept mine
16. Had a few bargains though maybe when I bought them the going price was not far off. 1964 Hofner violin bass £175 November 1988 1992 Rickenbacker 4003 £650 August 1998 2003 Musicman SUB £89.99 2012 I THINK. 2008 MIM/MIJ Fender Precision £150 2012 There have been loads of others but these stick out.
17. Looks good.

Amazing work you had done with amazing results, it looks brilliant .
21.
Put flatwounds on and never change them again!
Done just that and for that very reason.
22. Absolutely stunning
23. The bass looks great hope when you finish the setup, it's everything you'd hoped that it would be . For my 21st birthday my Dad bought me a secondhand Peavey T-40 (stolen years ago ), often thought about replacing it but the weight of it was heavy then I'm 48 now don't think I could wear it for long .
24.
Win win!
Same here nice one
25.
I found that, despite liking MIMs, Squiers, CIJs, Sig Series etc, the ones for me are the US Standards. It may be "label-conciousness" or something, but I just feel more comfortable with them. Nothing wrong with the others, but to me there is always something, that I can`t specify mind, missing with them.
It took me 27 years & a few attempts to love the Precision bass, but like Lozz196 the new American Standard Precision changed all that for me .
