    I just want to say that I have three Fender USA Precisions. I never played any of them before they came into my possession. All three are superb basses. They are well made. They sound fantastic. They will last a long, long time. That's all.

    There is a slight problem with the photograph you have posted of the body of 'your' bass. The photograph is in fact of my bass which is still is a cherished part of my own collection. You have already stated fairly that the demo clip is not your bass. Perhaps a photograph of your own instrument would help your sale.

    Here's another bump. The point, I think, is that there is a recognised way to post for sale items. If the bass is for sale and not trade potential buyers like to see pics with a clearly stated price. It's not difficult to fulfil that basic format and it keeps everybody happy and increases the chance of a successfull sale. Good luck with the sale!

I think Japanese Fenders are consistantly well made & have recommended them time & time again. The Telecaster happens to be one of my favourite guitars. My go-to guitar at home is a Strat. I do genuinely think that Fender USA take the piss with their pricing and the uninspired & cynical (IMO!) rehashes of their classic designs they keep pumping out, but many others seem to feel the same judging by the comments on this thread and others.
