1. That is gorgeous. If it's still around when I sell my Attitude, I will be in touch. Good luck, Karl.
2. I was hoping to knock the door on this one Mr. Eric sir, but the sale of my Attitude fell through. Best of luck, that one is a beaut and whilst bolt necks aren't as popular or expensive as thru necks, they are a bloody sight easier to work on. Karl.
3. 75 RI Jazzes seem to go round about the £600 mark. I think part of the problem is that in the last year Fender Japan new prices have rocketted (presumably due to exchange rate and VAT increase). It seems individuals and businesses are looking at new price and jacking the 2nd hand price up to match. The result is few seem to sell. I would love a Marcus Miller, which a year ago you would have got on here for around £550/£600. Now sellers are asking £750/£900 for them. No thanks . I have a second hand Yam custom shop for sale, new over £1700, nobody prepared to pay £850, cest la guerre. Karl.
4. As todays youf may say, OMG, THAT is gorgeous . Good luck, Karl.
5. Sweet John, good luck. Top fella to deal with. Karl.
6. Gareth, are you actually Leo re-incarnate and is your loft a secret master build workshop . All the best, Karl.
7. Ohhhh Lordy, and youv'e got 2 HMT's. Happy New Year (I think!)
8. Oi, bugger off some of us are trying to practice Burn here
9. And the Orange P in your avatar is???????????? bump
10. Thanks for the video on my advert Matej. Billy's fingerprints are on the bass, in white, on the fretboard, as position markers cheers, Karl.
11. G ot all my strings from Status for the last couple of years, Excellent prices, range and service and I can order when I have the time. Promenade is a hundred mile round trip for me, but it's worth it for something big and new, Gary is excellent.
12. One of these for sale at CC Music in Glasgow, on the Bay at BIN of £1299 . Please buy this so Matej can buy my Attitude for £850 Karl.
13. Very nice indeed, good luck, Karl.
14. Hiya. I'm a bit dim, but do I read that you want to swap this rig for a Warwick bass? If so, please have a look at the attachment. I may yet still trade for it, it's a stunning looking bass it's just I've only played a Warwick once, and couldn't get on with the fretboard. Stockholm Syndrome wants to get my Billy Sheehan X, I would be very happy to exchange it for your cab and Genz Benz, if we are all looking at around a similar value. So, just a thought, if everybody was in agreement. I meet you somewhere , I give you my bass, you give me the Genz and Uber, Samuel pays for the Warwick to come to you, you send the Sheehan to him. Sorry, if the Genz/Uber are worth more than £900 to you, just completely ignore my ignorance. Regardless, all the best, Karl http://basschat.co.u...37#entry1339537 OOOPS, sorry, just googled the amp and cab and it's £1500 new, Apologies, forget it, no offence intended. Good luck, and , er, Bump.
15. None of my business, but perhaps it may be worth considering an Aerodyne? The are very light basses with generally a P/J set up. Usually a Black one about somewhere but I dont think I've seen one with a maple fretboard. Anyway, just a thought. Best of luck, Karl.
16. Try Paisley freight, there is a sticky somewhere, but I've used them, reasonable prices excellent service
17.
OK, the first person to laugh will be made to stand at the back! http://www.ebay.co.u...=item43abf641ce
er, you laughed Jack, on your way! Wondered what happened to my wardrobe door in '89
18. Cheers Adam. It's the tapping bits and raking that I find easy, the right hand melody from the keys is the trickier bit for me, Just hope when we do gig it there are no Billy anoraks out there
19.
I'd start with the original John Lord solo and do your own approximation of it. Then you've just done what Sheehan did.
Doh, why didn't I think of that . Must ne the sherry in my cornmflakes, thanks arthurhenry
20. Her Who Makes Toast By Breathing On Bread bought me Caro Emerald, Deleted scenes from the cutting room floor, for Christmas. On right now and it's marvellous.
21. Come on peeps, get this bargain bought, so I might talk Mr Biscuit Barrel (if you ask it will be a bump ) into purchasing my kinda withdrawn Sheehan Attitude X. Then I might be able to satisfy Shonks, fnarr, fnarr (copyright MB1 ). Merry Christmas by the way.
22.
I know times are hard and everyone is waiting for me to drop the price, but I'm not giving this bass away. The Barts on it are a significant upgrade as I'm sure most of you are aware. It plays and sounds the nuts, so its not hurting me to hang on to it!
Good man
