1.
If you want a real Status Jazz bass, how about this.
Gorgeous
I've seen a Status before.
Yeah, but your'e from the South Wayne
2. Bump of the "is the Capri Orange P Japanese or USA" kind. Don't look at me like that Gareth, it's a bump
3. No disrespect fella but if you want to sell it the photo's below are the kind that would "do the trick". Good luck, Karl http://basschat.co.uk/topic/166281-fs-aguilar-ag500-dual-channel-mintlondon/
4. I'm dozy, can't access the photo, where am I going wrong?
5. Thanks for that guys, thought the tuners and truss rod cover looked very generic Japanese 70's ish. Nice looking board and neck though.
6.
SWR are easily the best sounding cabs I have had, just to my taste, I could do with a f ew quid at the mo and some space, add this to lack of use... not fussed if they end up stayiung tho Karlfer - I guess they are a b it bulky and heavy compared to some stuff out there these days. they still sound great!!
Better than great, they are bloody fantastic.
7. Curious on this one. Anybody got any info? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180808278849?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
8. We're waiting
9. It's bizarre isn't it. Everyone raves about SWR but they always seem difficult to sell on. These cabs are BRILLIANT. Loved mine then went all titchy stuff. Thats coz I'm an old coffin dodger. For God's sake somebody buy them , stupid value at these prices.
10.
The more I read this listing, the better it gets... "It would be better if this guitar was collected in person but if its collected by courier ye can have the pleasure in arranging this yourself with the risk being yours..." I think we be dealin' with pirates here, Jim lad! Aaaarr! The whole description sounds a lot funnier if you read it in the style of Blackbeard... "PROFFESIONALLY SET-UP..." Is the seller referring to whoever is unfortunate enough to buy it?
Love the Set Up gag, I'll be nicking that one thank you very muchly
11.
thanx do you know i don't think i like capri orange
Breath baited am I
12. What's the matter with you people, he's told you it's RAREE
13. Neither can I . As stunning as it is, I'm waiting to see if Gareth's Orange P ever comes up . And if it's anywhere near what I can afford
14.
Depends how much you were seeling it for haha! Best of luck with the sale(s)!
Sorry Mr Bradshaw, not wishing to derail your sales post, but....., if your amp head is still available after my Terror goes, I'll be 'avin it, so bear with me . At worst it's a free bump. Hi Adam. I would put the Bass Terror up at £350 including the valves in it, plus the originals. £10 delivery. They are about £490 now. I look after my gear, it's unmarked as far as I can see. Small tear in the make up bag, sorry, cover. I can't really put it up until the end of this week as VAT return this weekend, Switzerland Monday, Sweden Tues/Wed poss Thursday. Bricking it, ain't flown for a decade! So if the Klystron head is still around then, I will be going for it, as it's the ONLY head I would prefer to my Bass Terror. Cheers, Karl. Good luck Mr. Bradshaw (I think )
15. Klystron 500 head Wonder if I could sell my re-valved BassTerror in time? Good luck.
16. Some nice gear and reasonable prices.
17. Been watching these for ages, but only 5vers
18.
Thanks guys - I will hopefully find that elusive B and also, I'm sure, something else I'm not looking for just yet but which I'll decide I MUST have as soon as I see it/them
Half wound 5 string sets from Status . Bugger, I better get some work done.
19.
I'm very wary of these 'help for heros' events , popular in local pubs round our way. Not the cause , but it seems like publicans perks to me. The bands play for nothing , other folk do fundraisy things for nothing and the pub gives ' a percentage of the bar take'. I'll bet they do.
I'm with Dave. We did 3 of those year before last, 2 last year(couldn't make the 3rd ). Everbody else was local and getting their shift money/profits. The bands weren't all local, once we got on 2 hours late, no fees/expenses. Not even a thanks. Great cause, but not helped by some attitudes. Karl.
20.
Thanks Karl, will check them out. Do they sell single strings as well as sets?
My pleasure. Single string, dunno, one can but ask
21. Late to the party as ever, but just in case it may be of use in the future. I've had flats (medium tension) and rounds from Status, great strings, great prices, fantastic service. I ordered online again Monday morning and got them yesterday morning . Go to website, click on online store, strings, then follow your heart's desire. Karl. 22. Every time I have ordered from Status, Dawn and her crew have been FANTASTIC. Ordered yet another set yesterday morning (online) and they were here today. Flats and rounds, bloody good strings, great prices and great service. Cheers Status.
23.
You are correct!
Oi, don't you accuse me of being correct WH. I have a reputation to maintain dontcha know
24. Not sure, but I have a feeling that if the FEEBay winner chooses to use PayPal, you may well have to accept it. As I said, not sure, but it may be worth checking out. Good luck anyway, Karl.
