3. Neither can I . As stunning as it is, I'm waiting to see if Gareth's Orange P ever comes up . And if it's anywhere near what I can afford
4.
Depends how much you were seeling it for haha! Best of luck with the sale(s)!
Sorry Mr Bradshaw, not wishing to derail your sales post, but....., if your amp head is still available after my Terror goes, I'll be 'avin it, so bear with me . At worst it's a free bump. Hi Adam. I would put the Bass Terror up at £350 including the valves in it, plus the originals. £10 delivery. They are about £490 now. I look after my gear, it's unmarked as far as I can see. Small tear in the make up bag, sorry, cover. I can't really put it up until the end of this week as VAT return this weekend, Switzerland Monday, Sweden Tues/Wed poss Thursday. Bricking it, ain't flown for a decade! So if the Klystron head is still around then, I will be going for it, as it's the ONLY head I would prefer to my Bass Terror. Cheers, Karl. Good luck Mr. Bradshaw (I think )
5. Klystron 500 head Wonder if I could sell my re-valved BassTerror in time? Good luck.
6. Some nice gear and reasonable prices.
7. Been watching these for ages, but only 5vers
8.
Thanks guys - I will hopefully find that elusive B and also, I'm sure, something else I'm not looking for just yet but which I'll decide I MUST have as soon as I see it/them
Half wound 5 string sets from Status . Bugger, I better get some work done.
9.
I'm very wary of these 'help for heros' events , popular in local pubs round our way. Not the cause , but it seems like publicans perks to me. The bands play for nothing , other folk do fundraisy things for nothing and the pub gives ' a percentage of the bar take'. I'll bet they do.
I'm with Dave. We did 3 of those year before last, 2 last year(couldn't make the 3rd ). Everbody else was local and getting their shift money/profits. The bands weren't all local, once we got on 2 hours late, no fees/expenses. Not even a thanks. Great cause, but not helped by some attitudes. Karl.
10.
Thanks Karl, will check them out. Do they sell single strings as well as sets?
My pleasure. Single string, dunno, one can but ask
11. Late to the party as ever, but just in case it may be of use in the future. I've had flats (medium tension) and rounds from Status, great strings, great prices, fantastic service. I ordered online again Monday morning and got them yesterday morning . Go to website, click on online store, strings, then follow your heart's desire. Karl. 12. Every time I have ordered from Status, Dawn and her crew have been FANTASTIC. Ordered yet another set yesterday morning (online) and they were here today. Flats and rounds, bloody good strings, great prices and great service. Cheers Status.
13.
You are correct!
Oi, don't you accuse me of being correct WH. I have a reputation to maintain dontcha know
14. Not sure, but I have a feeling that if the FEEBay winner chooses to use PayPal, you may well have to accept it. As I said, not sure, but it may be worth checking out. Good luck anyway, Karl.
15. Ye Gods so tempting. I have a LPB one and I nearly went for this one as well. These are fantastic jazzes. I don't need one just because it's a nicer colour scheme . Good luck, I'm going to avert my eyes now. Karl.
16. Waited for one of these with the thinner nut width for well over a year. Committed to buying s USA P yesterday. Doesn't life sometimes take the piss. Good luck (you won't need it!). Karl.
17. Just bought John's 2004 US Precision. Top bloke, top bass, could not have been any easier. Many thanks John, take care, Karl.
18.
Great decision! Keep it because you will only regret selling and constantly think about 'that' Sei you once loved...
Ain't that the truth
19.
dont suppose anyone travels London to Glasgow (or vice versa) on a regular basis?
Eddie Stobbard bump
20.
Hi there I was the original owner of this very bass & I'd to keep track of where it goes in the hope of being able to buy it back one day? Did you buy this from Karl?
Hiya, have a look on the Attitude group on Facebook, ColBassface got it, he's a member there and I've bumped his last post up to near yours, all the best, Karl.
21. Ah, now it's official,
22. Are your features/specs right fella? I'm probably being dozy as usual, but string sizes quoted look to be for 5 string, nut width at 1.6 is wider than usual Jazz of 1.5? Nice basses but couple hundred past my wallet. Good luck, Karl.
23. Jon has just bought my bass. Absolutely top class, decisive, no waffling, couldn't have made it easier for me. Highly recommended. Enjoy it Jon and thanks for everything, all the best, Karl. PS IF YOU LIKE rock with a bit of Prog, listen to his band Samurai, superb!!!!!!
24. Done gone, many thanks Jon. Sorry to the other 5 who couldn't shift stuff in time, best of luck with your search lads, cheers, Karl
