3. Hello folks. Bought this multiple effects unit when it looked like we were going from 4 piece to 3 piece. 4. You'll get no thanks for playing like that in "Rockin in the Free World" at the Dog and Scrote on a Saturday night, my lad. Seriously though, wow. Karl.
5.
I think the Bass players name is Sally. Garry
6. My own personal Holy Grail . Karl.
7.
Nobody wanting a nice festive coloured bass for the Christmas gigs?
Yup, but I need to put my Yam ATT X Tenth anniversary up for sale 1st. Good luck, fabulous bass and good price.
8. Wonderful.
9. I've backed off a bit, although I'll be back in the for sale section (reluctantly) soon. Got a bit of a slaying by couple of members over a for sale and an off topic. Pissed me off no end that people can just come out with unfounded opinions based on what they consider to be the truth, but were actually biased opinions. Just like mine were , but I did try to avoid masquerading them as the truth. Added to which I've just put the house, the Mrs, me ma and my genitalia on the line to the banks to buy a business .Time is a tad short.
10. Ahh, I know that conservatory so well bump
11.
Since I was a teenager I have wanted a Black Eagle! But I have never seen a white one! Love It.
Exactly the same for me!
12. Am I Evil, cross between Diamond Head and Mettalica's version, horrible bit of changed timing (by us) in the middle.
13.
You're spot on - it's actually a Jimmy Nail lyric. He's qualified to write it. It's a great studio - the best in Newcastle IMO. Really happy with the bass tone. DI'd via one of those magic plug-ins.
I remember 1980, us lot playing the Turks Head in Darlington, supported by The King Crabs with a certain Jimmy Nail on bass!!!!!
14. Sorry had been away three days with no mobile reception (in Broughty Ferry?, shame on you 3 mobile)
15. Lorne, your humour is your taste, not mine. Your intimation is that you are right and I am wrong. The word misleading is not one I am happy with. Kindly do not post any more on this thread. I asked Yamaha UK for information. I used the information they gave me on this thread. I have stated why I quoted a Mk 111. Once again, READ MY FEEDBACK.
16. Nice bit of Attitude there, good luck with the sale. Karl.
17. +2, I'm going to Dundee next week
18. I try not to comment on price but that is a fantastic bass and the recent ones appear to have gone for around the £700 and upwards mark. That's a lot off for a ding. Good luck. Karl.
19. Me making it tough for Crimewatch
20. Thanks for all the brilliant advice folks. As an update, 1st gig last night after drummers hol, three of us ready to give it some. Guitarist who had flounced out turned up an hour after the rest of us. We played better than we have ever done (IMO) so looks like we are still a 4 piece. At the moment
