1. Stunning.
2.
This has been on for a while now , on and off . Lovely looking bass , and right up my street , but frankly too expensive . There just seems to be a couple of people asking way too much for these now , and I recon around about the grand mark is about right , but as usual it's market forces . There's a nice white one on their also at this moment . The seller is saying how this is a bargin at 1.4K , as the others on Ebay are higher . Completetly failing to understand that the others haven't sold for months now .
+1
3. I chased him to £450, convinced it was shill bidding. Obviously wrong.
4.
Hi, I'm new to this thread. There are a Fireglo and Jetglo Rockinbetter on the Cash Coverters auction site at the moment supposedly in 'Brand new' condition for three hundred quid each. Is this a reasonable price?
Not bad if they are immaculate. £250 would be nearer the mark for me.
5.
Rejoice! The recession is over!!!!
6.
Hello again, is the Klystron head still up for sale? If it is, I'll be putting up my Orange Bass Terror. Kind regards, Karl. MB1. Now that'll make your eyes water! BUMP!
Indeed it did
7. An American, 2001 Jazz Deluxe Cherryburst, with one tiny ding, has just gone for only £40more than the Kasuga. I give up!
8. Could always put an add up on Basschat asking if anybody local to you has x product, see if they would let you try it. Not the same I know, but I would always be willing to let a fellow BC'er try out any of my (limited) gear. Good luck, Karl.
9.
MB1. Karlfer was last seen Gassing for one of these! could be worth a Pm!...(Think he may have Orange things too?) BUMP!
OHHHH yus, and we're in touch. I need to sort out some of my most excellent (read crap) mobile phone photy's this very eve. Thanks Martin, appreciated cos I am dim enough to have missed it! Cheers, Karl.
10.
Yy Yy Yy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just sold my beautiful Aria Bolt Neck Ric, for just shy of £200 less. Bet the seller is WELL Pleased! Few, I need a lie down!!
Yes. I know you did and I was in between monies at the time
11. Fantastic basses, tremendous value for money, great feel and pups. A yank jazz at this price is a bloody STEAL. Get it on FEEBay if you need rid quick, you will certainly get more than £380 plus postage for it. (Paisley freight would send it most places UK for about £15). Good luck, Karl.
12. Now I understand, Mark Bass attracts Gear Moths . Must be the yellow. Thank you gents, Karl.
13. Kasuga BOLT NECK Rick copy went for £520. I bid up to £450, which I thought was ridiculous. My original neck through that I bought in '78 (it got nicked) was £110, on a years tick (ask yer grandpappy). Some things are perhaps recession proof. http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p4340.l2565&rt=nc&item=330680516684
14. Had my eyes on an Ashdown Klystron, so probably putting up my Terror. Been away with work not had the chance. Anyway, keeping an eye on the Klystron in amps for sale, noticed there seems to be quite a few Mark Bass amps up for sale, at reasonable prices. Anybody any idea why? Cheers. Karl.
15. Hello again, is the Klystron head still up for sale? If it is, I'll be putting up my Orange Bass Terror. Kind regards, Karl.
16.
If you want a real Status Jazz bass, how about this.
Gorgeous
I've seen a Status before.
Yeah, but your'e from the South Wayne
17. Bump of the "is the Capri Orange P Japanese or USA" kind. Don't look at me like that Gareth, it's a bump
18. No disrespect fella but if you want to sell it the photo's below are the kind that would "do the trick". Good luck, Karl http://basschat.co.uk/topic/166281-fs-aguilar-ag500-dual-channel-mintlondon/
19. I'm dozy, can't access the photo, where am I going wrong?
20. Thanks for that guys, thought the tuners and truss rod cover looked very generic Japanese 70's ish. Nice looking board and neck though.
21.
SWR are easily the best sounding cabs I have had, just to my taste, I could do with a f ew quid at the mo and some space, add this to lack of use... not fussed if they end up stayiung tho Karlfer - I guess they are a b it bulky and heavy compared to some stuff out there these days. they still sound great!!
Better than great, they are bloody fantastic.
22. Curious on this one. Anybody got any info? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180808278849?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
23. We're waiting
24. It's bizarre isn't it. Everyone raves about SWR but they always seem difficult to sell on. These cabs are BRILLIANT. Loved mine then went all titchy stuff. Thats coz I'm an old coffin dodger. For God's sake somebody buy them , stupid value at these prices.
25.
The more I read this listing, the better it gets... "It would be better if this guitar was collected in person but if its collected by courier ye can have the pleasure in arranging this yourself with the risk being yours..." I think we be dealin' with pirates here, Jim lad! Aaaarr! The whole description sounds a lot funnier if you read it in the style of Blackbeard... "PROFFESIONALLY SET-UP..." Is the seller referring to whoever is unfortunate enough to buy it?
Love the Set Up gag, I'll be nicking that one thank you very muchly
