1.
I'm looking at Austin Metros and Maestros, Morris Itals and Marinas etc on eBay, some things just can't be explained!
I'm heavily into classic cars with my 1962 Anglia so there is nothing wrong with you Pete, the choice however....
2. We never have the problem, not many drunk people at a Methodist Church on a Sunday Morning
3. Oh the amps are way better.
4.
1. He was online 10 mins before I posted, viewing "Basses for sale". 2. It's only 19 months since the last comment, don't exaggerate
Hahahaha
5. KARL!! I've just read all through this getting excited to find it's nearly 2 years old, send a PM matey.
6. I have the same problem, I wanted a blue/maple P and so I bought a new one and it's fabulous, then I saw a red/maple on here for sale and I coveted it, now it's with me and I'm happy. I have a lovely candy orange/ maple Jazz which is fantastic BUT I saw the Antigua up for sale recently and I thought wow that'll be a great backup Jazz, so I now have it It's getting stupid. I still look at basses for sale even though I don't need any. Beware when you retire guys, too much time on your hands and too many temptations on places like this, I'm now gas free..... unless I see something I can't live without.
7. Yes. I bought one and sent it back the next day, pickup was quite strong with plenty of power and it was light so lovely..... not. I couldn't get on with the neck and it just felt cheap so bye bye.
8. I've just got the HT-1r rodeo version with the bigger cab and it's perfect for me, clean and dirty without 75000 combinations of effects. expensive at £294 but well worth it. made up.
9. Cheers for the links, it seems as though it's good value. Been offered a Korean fender tele for 500 shimblats, didn't know they made them there, 85 - 92 model...
10.
You only have money tom as you keep making me spend my pocket money
Ah, you've seen my latest offering then?
11. Thanks for the comments folks, I use Auto Glym Super Resin polish, works well innit?
12. Paul, have you had your medication yet? thought not. go and lie down in a darkened room, you'll soon feel better. I on the other hand still have money in the bank so I obviously need more basses
13. Hey guys n gals, having just bought an Epiphone Sheraton which I'm very happy with, I now want a Tele-alike so wondered if anyone has bought the Retrovibe T Rod? If so what do you think of it? Here's a link with a demo (not very good) http://www.retrovibe.co.uk/t-rod/red.html cheers.
14. As title, I bought this to carry out that vast eternal plan and make something fabulous but there are too many distractions out there and I never started it. So it's up for sale again, it's in good condition and plays just fine, I don't know what pickups are in it but there is plenty of output. It has Fender large tuners and a BBOT bridge. The neck is 44mm wide at the nut and it weighs just 7.2 lbs. The price includes UK delivery. 15. Once a bass leaves me it no longer concerns me what happens to it. Wouldn't do if we were all the same. Thanks for your comments.

gg

Looks mint.
17. Here is my Lake Placid Blue Precision, it's in immaculate condition and has a low action. It plays really well with the usual thump. I've just got this back from a friend I sold it to 2 years ago. He saw it hanging on my wall and practically forced me to sell him it. Now he is full time caring for his wife and has no time to play. This bass weighs 9.4 lbs and as near as I can tell the nut width is around 42 mm. The rubber grommet covers a hole that had a kill switch in it. The price includes delivery to the UK mainland.
